Once again we visited Verona and brought two friends with us who were both very pleased with our recommendation. It was quite late when we arrived having had a drink at the Trackside first, so there weren't that many tables occupied and by the time we left we were the last people there and they were probably awaiting the first of the evening diners to arrive. However our meals were as good as ever. Everything was full of flavour and served piping hot and service, as ever, was with a smile. No wonder we keep coming back.

Italian restaurant and pizzeria based in Whitefield, Manchester offering dine-in, takeaways & free weekend delivery. Est. 1989. 5 star health & hygiene rating.
We visit Pepes regularly for takeaway and to eat in, visited tonight & they are celebrating there 30 year anniversary. 30 years and itâs still the best in Whitefield! Great pizza & I canât recommend the garlic mushrooms highly enough.

Vegan review: Booked this table at the last minute with friends! The vegan options were not clearly marked, however the staff were happy to go through the menu and discuss them. They said it is something theyâre looking to improve. I got garlic bread with vegan cheese - the garlic came in a separate pot as their original garlic butter has dairy in it. It was so delicious! Then got the goatâs cheese and roasted red onion salad for main, swapping in vegan cheese. The salad bit was a bit bland but the cheese, tomatoes and onion on French bread was delightful! I think they forgot the pine nuts. For dessert, the only option was lemon sorbet, so had that. They told me they used to do another dessert, âcheeseâ cake I believe. To drink, I had a couple of elderflower pressés. The service was great, the food was lovely, prices were reasonable, the location was central! I would give more stars for clearly marked vegan options and more of them.

We came for lunch today. My daughter and her family recently moved to the area and we were visiting from North Yorkshire. (I was the guy who tried three grappas.) Thanks for a delicious lunch, and for making us feel so welcome. Weâll certainly be back!

Our local Italian restaurant that we normally frequent was fully booked, it was late afternoon on a Sunday and a last minute decision to eat out, so we checked the internet for a nice alternative near to us. We decided on Porada after reading their great reviews.I can't believe I haven't heard about it before. It is large, very stylish and imaculate, like an expensive city centre establishment, which can sometimes be a bit up themselves, so I was hesitant on entering. No need to worry, we were warmly welcomed in by the friendly staff. Some of our party chose from the main menu my husband and I chose from the set menu as it was good value, there is only one vegetarian choice on the set menu, so it was limited for me. We all really enjoyed our meals, which were well presented and delicious. The staff set a high standard and service is very professional. I look forward to our next visit.

Lovely place but not quite achieving its potential. Looking for a local restaurant but failed to fully impress. Reserved table squashed against the counter with no room. Family run Italian restaurant specialising in Italian cuisine.
Visited this family run traditional Italian restaurant over the weekend. Small but perfectly formed. Staff are warm and engaging. Full menu if traditional favourites beautifully cooked and reasonably priced. Definitely one to return to!

Had the lobster ravioli, which is usually a favourite of mine. The questionable lobster was a mushy paste and the tomato cream sauce tasted like a well known tomato soup. Havenât been here for many years and probably wonât go again. There are so many other Italian restaurants around to choose from. Gave 3 because the staff are nice.
