We were two Danish groups so we almost filled the restaurant at long tables. This place used to be run by Danish artist Ulla Kampmann and her Italian husband. Starter: Fettucine con funghi porcini, Main dish: Involtini with oven potatoes and salad, Dessert: Fresh strawberries which is a speciality, cake and coffee. Very busy and noisy the Italian way, good atmosphere.

This for sure the best Restaurant in Genzano di roma. The consilition was very good. We had fish based apetizers. It was absolutely fresh and excellent marinated. The main dishes - risotto and linguine - met 100% our expectation. The service has been on the upper level. This Location is fully recommendable.

We visited here with a group of 47 with a fantastic menu negotiated in advance with the proprietor. We had meat/fish option for people to chose from. Amazing seafood starter which came with an additional bowl of mussels, next a seafood linguine ,followed by a risotto with scampi. Feeling full by this point with main course to come! Great selection of grilled fish,giant prawns and stuffed crayfish all well flavoured and prepared. Meat eaters tucked into good antipasti, wild boar risotto and pasta ragú and very generous mixed grill of lamb,spicy sausage, succulent pork and kebabs. An enormous meal topped off with fruit salad with Nemi strawberries and coffee. This all for an amazing price! Good theatre in the restaurant with food finished on an open fire. Good,efficient service and every table filled with locals. If in the area, this is the place to go!

Kindness, good service, wine knowledgeable waiters... and foremost fresh outstanding food.(dried meats are brilliant). I only suggest you check first for the events they are hosting... then they are busy. Other days... good and a very good venue for a business lunches.

October 14, 2014, our family had dinner in this restaurant. The restaurant looks like a small mountain hut - very cozy environment. We had Primo and Secondo this evening. For Primo we took the advise from the chief. We had ravioli stuffed with duck, tortellini in a gorgonzola sauce and then homemade bean soup with fresh parmesan cheese. All dishes really good. For the main course we had thin sliced beef with fresh mushrooms and boneless, roasted chicken. Particular the chicken was outstanding. Crispy, tasty and juicy. The we had a bottle of the local red wine from CASTEL DE PAOLIS. All in all this was one of the best meals we have had in Nemi for the last many years. Can only be recommended.

Been there more than 20 year after the last one and discover that really few things have changed...same owner, same fine mood, same good food. I personally like the pizza and the fried appetizer, and, off corse, the low price too ! Just sit down and enjoy it !

Worth looking up if you are in the area, even worth having a day out here specially.Hidden down an alleyway in the historic centre, you will find this young dynamic team who deserve every encouragement.Try the "viaggio" mixed seafood antipasto, imaginative, fresh from the sea, truly a gastronomic journey.The bill was a bit high, but considering the quality and quantity we received, I wouldn't complain. You get what you pay for And that is the top. They also offered some dishes free.Well worth a detour, it's easy by train from Rome.

Wenn we entered the restaurant we were a little surprised and perhaps even sceptical. The roof and walls are plastered with old phones, can, glasses trays etc. Very thrilling.The waiter brought the menu and a piece of paper explaining about the pizza dough. All in Italian. No word of English from the waiter. I like that by the way, genuine. The waiter took his time to explain a together we arrived at an understandable translation We ordered our pizzas and we got two very tasty, fresh and filling pizzas..Benissimograzie x la recensione (chirimoya)
