Accoglienza molto cordiale, servizio da mettere a punto (il locale ha aperto da luglio 2010): ci è capitato di essere letteralmente dimenticati fra una portata e l'altra.Atmosfera splendida, su una terrazza all'aperto a bordo piscina, sotto ad un ulivo e con vista sul mare e la torre di bari sardo. Favoloso con la luna piena!Piatti di tradizione, anche locale, con qualche spunto di fantasia interessante. Le fettuccine con l'astice erano semplicemente divine, il filetto di spigola al cannonau sorprendente e meraviglioso. Il dolce -purtroppo- è stato da dimenticare: la peggior torta alle pere e cioccolato che ricordi.Prezzo ragionevole.

Io non avevo ancora provato la cucina della nuova gestione di questa struttura e oggi a cena abbiamo deciso di andare in compagnia dei miei. Il menu è molto ricco per quanto riguarda le pizze ed un poâ meno per il ristorante. Io e mio padre abbiamo preso una bistecca di manzo con patatine mentre mia padre una pizza. Carne ottima. Tenera e ben cucinata. La location merita 10+ mentre il personale in sala tranne qualche eccezione ha qualche lacuna, un poâ distratto, e molto poco preparato.

Dal ristorante si gode un ampio e bellissimo panorama. Uno dei più conosciuti locali di Lanusei. Cucina casalinga e pizzeria.Piatti di terra e di mare con pesce freschissimo. Ambiente accogliete, buono il servizio.

We had lunch at La Nuova Verace. It's one of those restaurants that you will find all over Sardinia and Italy. The service was friendly, but the food was only OK. We had some cold cuts for antipasti, large slices of veal with mushrooms for our main course and fruit for dessert. We were glad to find somewhere to eat in the small mountain town of Lanusei, but nothing that we will remember as something special.

Went here following the trip advisor reviews. After a long drive up windy mountain roads were surprised to see such a huge restaurant. Had a nice dinner: pasta, pizza and some boar meat. And for desert a nice Tiramisu. We were surprised to have a German speaking host: apparently he worked in Germany nearly 40 years ago. He recommended half the dishes we had and all of his recommdations were a hit. On too of all the restaurant has a great view.Thank you for the kind words, glad you have satisfied your needs, we hope to meet again and we wish you happy holidays.

In viaggio in moto ci siamo fermati in piazza e, su consiglio della gente del posto, siamo entrati in questa paninoteca. Servizio cordiale, solare, preparato e simpatico. Cibo eccellente e birra ottima. Noi abbiamo preso quattro insalatone, due birre, due bibite e quattro caffè, spendendo in totale meno di â¬50,00. Eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo.

Had lunch here yesterday, with 5 friends. In the center of the city. If you stop in Lanusei during a Trenino Verde tour (from Mandas) like we did, just be aware the restaurant is about 20 minutes walking from the train station. The restaurant is comfortable and with standard ambient/ atmosphere but the view of the sea is really nice. We ordered 5 primi and 1 antipasto, 5 secondi with fish and a couple of salads. The fried calamari was the best choice. The pappardelle with mushrooms very good too. The rest was more " average" level. The service was good and fast. The price very honest : 130 euros total including mineral water and local wine.

We found this place on our way back to our resort after spending the day touring the island & what a find ! Great food, huge portions all at a fair price.An added bonus for us was the 80's music videos they were playing that night. We stopped for a quick bite for lunch, but the food was so delicious we ended up having a three-course meal. The food was excellent (we highly recommend the gnocchetti alla sarda, the local ravioli with butter and sage and the sebadas). The waiter was extremely friendly and welcoming, and he even offered us a glass of a delicious, very aromatic mirto.Definitely a place worth visiting if you are in the area!

We are here twice, and were not disappointed. The chef comes to your table to recommend some of the dishes and helps you choose what you like. The culurgiones al pomodoro should not be missed. The starter plates are also very good. However it is the attention that sets them apart.
