Really good food for a fair price. Sicilian cuisine with a modern touch and some surprising choices. Good combination of seafood, fish, meat, fresh pasta and pizza. Terrace and interior are nice and fresh, staff very friendly.

Spent three consecutive nights eating here after discovering the best pizza ever!! The boss was great at giving us ideas to try and some of the recipes were really innovative. My favourite my a mile was the Marcello .... exquisite!!

We found ourselves in Floridia by chance and consulted tripadvisor for a place to have lunch. We chose Il Proverbio and could not have received a warmer welcome. The staff are extremely accommodating. I had caponata tonnata to start and my husband had mussels - both were absolutely delicious. My husband always has mussels to start but said that these were the best he has EVER had. We then had linguine alle vongole and again it was exceptional. The wine was delicious and genuinely the food was the best we ate on our holiday. We will definitely return to the absolute gem of a find!!!

We had tried this place on a recommendation of a friend and they were right! Really good pizza! We went back again when the garden was open and it was so nice to sit outside and enjoy such good pizza!

We were in Floridia and were advised to go to this restaurant. Great choice! Their best plate is snails but we didn't eat them...we tried a small fish appetizer, bruschette, and then pasta alla norma, everything was excellent. We paid the right amount, less than â¬20, drinking wine.

We had an early meal (for Sicilians) at 7:30pm. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice, in the area there was not much to do as far as we could see (so skip the passeggiata in this area). The meal was ok, nothing to brag about though. We found the bruschetta to be very neutral taste wise. The primi were fine, the secondi from meat we would not highly recommend. The red house wine was ok. All in all a decent place to have a meal, especially when you take advantage of the fork discount times.

The prosciutteria just opened when we went there to try a sorting of ham and cheese. The quality is incredibly good and mostly selected regional products. The atmosphere in the local is really friendly and familiar. If you want to to buy some things to take home, the prosciutteria also sells products as for example handmade Sicilian marmelade, sweets and wine.

just think about a restaurant in a place that you never think there's wonderful food in there. a place that hides in a settlement area. great waiters that help you to eat the most delicious hamburger in town. generally, Sicily is not the place that we dreamed of, but U Putittu changed our thought. Good hamburger with best fries. dont miss it out.
