This restaurant tells a Jekyll vs Hyde story.Basically, it is a family run spot.In wintertime they are located in an old traditional house. Well restored, with simple but efficient family service, nice and original ambience. Honest prices. Large portions. Great "fritto misto alla Piemontese". It looks and tastes like the one I used to eat when I was a kid. Pasta is good as well. Desserts a bit closer to normal, but just a bit. A restaurant to visit again any again and again.In summertime they transfer to an anonymous premise, just in front. Outside it is minimal and it sounds like sitting at the Oktoberfest without the Fest. Inside it is just a home tavern, which does not bring any passion. Somehow, the food reflects the ambience. I can't say it is disgusting, but after being there in wintertime, it does not get more than 2 points over 5.Owners are very kind, efficient, helpful and available.If you visit them November to May ... You will feel in a almost perfect place!

I've been there last week for a birthday with another 55 people; we've eaten outside on a very long table. I don't like long tables but if you're 56 there is not much choice. The place is very nice with a garden and toys for kids of any age. The meal was reasonably good and I could not comment on the price (I was invited and I did not pay) but the personnel was nice and they were kind enough to give us the chance to play some music in the garden (my friend plays guitar and some of us brought other instruments).Overall it was a nice day and a nice place

We were there as part of a birthday celebration of a friend. there were a dozen of us, mostly Americans without Italian language skills. That didn't matter as the owners and waitstaff spoke English. Very friendly and helpful. They demonstrated the preparation of each of the four courses that we had, all with truffles except for dessert.

Nicely located in the lovely small town of Soglio. Everything is fresh and home made. Very tasteful and authentic cuisine. Unfortunately there is no menu, no prices, so if you are a tourist, you'll be overcharged. Expect to pay Michelin price for a local restaurant :(

Visto che continuo ad essere censurato, dico che é un posto fantastico! Vi troverete benissimo con il servizio. Potrete , mentre aspettate i piatti , fumare fuori in compagnia dei camerieri. Potrete assaporare piatti insipidi e riscaldati quando vi arriveranno. Andate numerosi!

Excellent Food, The right compromise between local tradition and a bit of experimentation. Nice Location in an old, well restored Train Station. Service is pleasant and fast enough. They have always proper and adequate wine suggestions, both form the local territory and outside the region. I like to choose my wine, but in this restaurant I always like to hear for a new combination.I'm going there, when not traveling, almost twice a month.Definitively, a worm suggestion.

On our recent visit to Cortazzone where we were staying with friends we had the pleasure of eating at Il Puffo on our first night in town. We had a delightful experience and the Pizza was excellent.

I was advised by the owner of an Agriturismo because the one I looked for has stopped Operation (I announced tripadvisor). And what a surprise: it is perfectly situated over a beatiful valley and furbished with much Taste. They offer various complete menus aside à la carte. I took Barbecue which comprises antipasto of your choice, 1kg (!) of veal, pork and chicken, grilled vegetables, a whole bottle of good wine, water and coffee: all good quality for 20⬠!Although there was a wedding besides other guests I did not have to wait. Meanwhile the owner took his time to show me around.Only disadvantage: I ate and drank too much

We stopped here for supper while traveling through the area; one of the locals recommended it. This is a small simple place with great views of the countryside if you choose to eat outside. We all had pizza with a carafe of wine. Beer is also available and be sure to try the limoncello! Service was friendly; glad we stumbled on to it. A perfect Italian evening.

Un bel posticino dove poter assaporare e gustare . Piatti fuori dal coro , materie prime ineccepibili , vini .... ampiamente in grado di soddisfare qualsivoglia esigenza o palato . Informale Patanegra,ostriche e foie gras (pateâ) Tutti assieme ad Asti non erano ancora arrivati . Coraggio e passione meritano 5 stelle . Bravo Raffael
