While staying at the hotel (Hotel Italia) this week (Sunday night) we decided to have our evening meal here and we did not regret it.The food was very reasonably priced (pizzas included) and there was a fixed price menu (E15).My wife enjoyed a pizza and I had the menu. The quality of the food and the service was more than adequate when compared to the cost. It fact, it was very good value for money.When one can eat in a nice restaurant on a Sunday evening in an area that is not packed with choices and spend less than E20 a head is very reasonable. Thank You.

Trattoria abbastanza fuorimano, ci rechiamo con aspettative alte per una trattoria, ma onestamente troviamo pochissimi piatti in carta a prezzi abbastanza importanti, tenendo conto del servizio raffazzonato, ordiniamo un piatto che doveva essere composto da polipetti seppioline e calamari ma ci vine portato solo un piatto di polipetti, ora a me va bene che tu non abbia trovato i prodotti freschi e quindi metti solo quello che hai nel piatto, ma onestamente ce lo devi dire prima. Insomma anche i primi buoni ma non memorabili...

Who would have thought that only 5km from home was a home from home with 5*+ cuisine.. Atmosphere, food, wine and hosts all top notch and a real hidden gem. The passion, creativity and uniqueness of the owners (the only staff) and the menu itself was evident from the moment we booked. Highly recommended..we've booked our next visit and are already studying the menu which we have the honor of choosing. Thank you Chez Nous!

With a party of eight among half a dozen other similar family parties we enjoyed a great set menu lunch for Easter. Typical Lombardy antipasti as a starter, including various preserved meats and sausages and pickles, plus a couple interesting additions such as cold chicken in red and yellow pepper sauce and hard-boiled eggs in tuna sauce. First courses included a lightly if richly flavoured risotto with asparagus and smoked mozzarella cheese, cooked with vegetable broth to leave full room to the seasonings' flavours, and fresh egg pasta with sausage and zucchini. Traditionally for Easter, roasted lamb was served as main course with roast potatoes and a mixed salad with multiple diverse and tasty varieties.Strong and good still red wine - Buttafuoco - and a quite original if simple chocolate cake topped with chocolate mousse and fresh strawberries. Servings were appropriately small for a multi-course meal, fully satisfactory.Each dish was lightly cooked and seasoned, with well distinguished flavours and a clear perception of the original taste of the main ingredients. Price was good enough to provide reason to take the trip. And quite a trip it is - 40 minutes or so from the southern outskirts of Milan, up to a leaf of the road's tree, where the road just stops and countryside surrounds: Samperone is the first "village" I ever saw in the plains near Milan where the main road stops at the main square rather than crossing it and continuing!

We went here following a visit to the monastery La Certosa because it was so highly recommended in Gambero Rosso and the Italian Michelin guide. Either the restaurant they reviewed closed or we went to the wrong place because this was a mistake in every way.The owner actually called me on my cellphone to ask where I was because we were five minutes late while driving around his own parking lot looking for a space. It got no better after that. Ther service was supercilious and, when one of our party ordered something then changed her mind, the waiter brought the wrong thing out and scolded HER for changing her order! The food was overwrought and overly fussy--and overpriced. All in all, probably the only restaurant in Italy I have ever regretted going to.

Wedding party of a friend of mine.Location nothing special, traditional farm style. In my opinion, place was not decorated enough for a wedding party...both garden and main room. About food, the same thing....not at the level of a wedding party...sufficient quality but nothing else.

Locale molto carino a due passi dal policlinico. L'ho 'testato' con una apericena in settimana, che si è rivelata davvero squisita. Il locale è molto fine, in una struttura rustica ristrutturata, che crea una bella atmosfera. Ci hanno proposto ottimi salumi nostrani (da segnalare in particolare il salame stagionato!) e piatti a base di verdure varie: peperoni cotti, zucchine, ecc. Poi hanno servito un risotto con zucca davvero molto molto buono. Hanno proposto anche una squisita pasta con pomodorini secchi e altri condimenti davvero saporiti: molto buona e apprezzata! Quindi c'erano anche piatti di frittate, pizzette, prosciutto e tacchino e soprattutto... gnocvo fritto! :-) Gli aperitivi erano ottimi come pure i vini km zero. Davvero consigliato e da provare.

I really loved this little restaurant unsuspectably located by the county road. Quaint, cosy, with bright warm porch and veranda and some sort of Provence style, was a strike of good luck. I ended up there by chance due to proxiity with a local clinic on a special day like this so I quite willingly welcomed a fixed and opulent menu that is not quite like me. However, despite a full house and a challenging 8 course menu they did quite well. Impeccable service, perfect rythm, friendly approach, every dish well prepared, accurate, well laid out and never banal. Special thanks to the staff that bravely welcomed my Great Dane of 80 kilos with a smile and sat us at the table by the kitchen door. As usual this show stopper conveniently sprawled on his mat drew the attention of all the kids but waitresses patiently mantained order and dodge them while serving. These days a true pet friendly restaurant is definitely a plus. Thanks and Merry Christmas !
