We went to the Alegre several times while staying in San Pedro. They can tune in most any game you want. Many microbrews available and Guatemalan draft liters for $30Q. The food was average - the food temps & service a bit uneven. The bathrooms are tiny and grungy.

We sat at a table overlooking the lake for lunch. Situated right by the boat launches. Sunday all day Happy hour, with Cuba Libras at 10 quetzals for 2.I had a fantastic philly cheese steak (50q although the menu in the road says 40q) loaded with steak, and my wife had a very filling qood quality sandwich with fries for 35q. The overall quality was fantastic, the location a belter and the staff (especially the UK guy) lovely. Very happy overall and would highly recommend.

The Clover Restaurant offers a great variaty of nacional and internacional food, with a friendly service, in a beautiful garden with lake view.
Conveniently located in the tourist area, a big choice of international dishes. The pasta carbonara was quite good (less than 6$). Itâs a restaurant with mixed local and expat staff, so Spanish and English are both fine. Nice view on the lake from the garden!

Nice place. Good Service. Clean. We offer hotel and dorms.
Don't believe any of their advertising signs out front for happy hour or drunk specials because you're probably being baited. We went here for a beer because they were advertising Victoria beer on a sign right outside their door for 9Q each. No fine print or asterisks or anything. We then go to pay and they were like 14Q each. Not a huge difference, but we were in a budget. We pointed out the error and were told the special was for the smaller Victoria beers, which I had never seen once in my 3 weeks in Guatemala (and after drinking lots of beer there), and which the server here never even offered us. The sign was very misleading. That's the only reason we even stopped there was because of their sign advertising 9Q Victorias. Be very skeptical of any special they advertise and ask many questions.

The food was plentiful and very good for only 30Q. I had the veggie omelet and it came with additional sauteed veggies and a little bit of beans and toast with jam. Everything tasted "very good". The restaurant opens at 8:00 which is nice, but they were washing the floor with chlorox at 8:15, so everything kind of tasted like the smell of bleach. Lots of flies, but I guess I should expect that with outdoor seating, but, more flies than other outdoor Guatemala restaurants that I have been to. It is a great cause and the school does support good projects. The service was GREAT. I would go again, but later in the day.

This cafe is my go to workplace. Working is really an excuse to eat their delicious fresh baked assortment of breads. Croissants - buttery and flaky - filled with your choice of ingredients is where it's at. The patio is quiet and relaxing. The waitstaff is kind and the food is always fresh and delicious. It's generally not crowded but can get busy occasionally. It's a great spot to set up and work for the morning. Again, with a croissant and coffee next to you...
