Truly one of the best fine dining restaurants in Huatulco. The menu is very extensive that will satisfy everyoneâs needs. There are many appetizers, soups and salads to start your meal with such as their excellent tortilla soup, onion rings, shrimp, tacos and more. For your main course there are many pasta dishes, steaks, chicken, fish, shrimp etc prepared in so many different ways that will not be disappointed. Their steaks are excellent and cooked perfectly. This visit I had their pasta carbonara which was one of the best Iâve ever had as agreed by two others who also chose this dish. The chicken parmasean was delicious as well as the steak with peppercorn sauce. Over the years Iâve tried pretty much every shrimp dish here and honestly every single one has been delicious. Our server Omar has been there many years and always gives excellent service. The entire staff are fantastic and we unfortunately did not get to say hello to Elva this year as she wasnât there. Just a brilliant unknown place!! It is a rustic setting, the staff are so friendly and really genuine. They will spend the time to chat and enjoy the night! Drink menu is great, cheap beers and the cocktails are really well done. They also have wine options that are delicious and the cheapest we found. As for the food, we went there twice and it got better and better. The menu changes each day so drop in and check, but they seem to always have an option for pork, fish(generally tuna) and beef plus a variety of starters which are vegetarian too. Just an amazing place to spend the night!They are only open for dinner and close a couple days a week so chat to them and donât miss it.

Max and his staff are consistently top notch! We eat here several times every year and LOVE it. The service is lovely, food delicious. We're not sure how some reviewers have found fault with this gem but certainly hope those types of people stay away so there's more room for us and those who appreciate a special place to rest and relax with delicious food and coffees.

The food is reliably good and fresh and the service is excellent. The Pay de Maracuya is so good I had it three times in one week. The air conditioning made this a restaurant it was a relief to visit - not just because of the temperature, but also to escape the relentless mosquitoes. An oasis in central Crucecita where you can loiter around the square before and/or after your meal.

Made a reservation the day before for dinner. A necessity!!Friendly staff , menu clearly explained in English. Good choices of fish and meat. We had the mahi mahi and it was excellent. Portions were good.Casual relaxed atmosphere. No cocktails but wine and beer readily available.

Made reservations the night before. Had the cheese crusted chicken and Kai Pad. Excellent!! Margaritas were pretty good, too. We ordered the lava cake for dessert when we ordered our meal as it takes a while to make. Very rich with chocolate sauce and ice cream. Great meal!

We ended up having lunch here by accident (nice surf spot in front). Great cebiche, good chicken soup, outstanding tuna tostadas. We had canilla ice cream and crepes for dessert and loved them.Service is good and courteous, but slow (in synch with the site relax vive)

Even though we stayed in Mazunte over 3 months, we discovered this restaurant close the end of our stay. We shared a delicious Pizza. 1 pizza for 2 persons was more than enough. It's wood oven cooked and really good. Service was friendly and Rafa the owner came by to say hi and see that we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is decorated with many flags from different countries where Rafa traveled to Surf. He is a Surf maniac. In the corner a TV plays Surf videos. Very good experience overall! We recommand this restaurant.Thanks alot for your visit to La Empanada , for us is very nice to hear that you had a good time with us and that you enjoyed what the Pacific ocean can offer , waves, sunsets, good friends Hope to see you back soon in mermejita beach .Cheers
