Roti House is a cozy place for friends to meet and have either South or North Indian food or both for a reasonable pricing.The place affords instant camaraderie and the food is quite good.One gets a choice of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian food freshly cooked and ordered. Pricing is not very high and can be said mid-ranged and reasonable.People serve you with enthusiasm and also help with suggestions for ordering food.During my stay for about two months in Laos in 2018 for most part of the time I was dining here without any issues.Strongly recommend dining here. For those from India, arriving newly into the city, you can leave your contact details at the hotel and they will inform, in advance, any special dishes they are going to cook during the weekends which is an added attraction.

Located near night market. Slowest service, served wrong order. We ordered chicken reshmi kebab which were under cooked, chicken tikka masala had no taste and worst of all dal makhni was actually cooked as rajma curry and they told us thats how they cook dal makhni. Naan was very tasty. Mango lassi was soar and big chunks of pulp in it.Card terminal for payment was not working(weird because wifi on our mobiles worked and they told us that card terminal is not working because of internet connection)Never going there again

I"ve eaten in many of the curry houses in Vientiane and I'd be hard pressed to say which one was best. This place would however be in the running. The flavours were excellent. The one disappointment was that the mutton was on the bone. Excellent service from a very smiley youngster. thankyou very much for your compliments. we shall keep on trying our best to maintain. our secret recepies from time to to time. thanking once again.

I went today to this restaurant and ordered beer and India food veg pakora. This place is first look like any village third grade hut and people are trained as if they do obligation to guest come there . It has no link to Indian food which should be fresh and made from true Indian ingredients. For pakora he used rice floor and fried may be very bad oil so taste come out is horrible . We order then peanut masala which should be just onion tomato and some spices with lemon but they prepared with cream and some sweats . Itâs insult to name of India . I would recommend people donât go .

I was in Vientiane between 12 February and 16 February. My hotel recommended this restaurant when I asked for Indian food. I was so happy that I went there for 3 dinners.With an experienced chef, I had different dishes and they were cooked the way I wanted the same cooked. Spicy, light gravy, no tomatoes and no milk or yogurt. The owner, Bhavin, took care of me and he understands his customers.The only thing negative about their service is if things get busy, service is slow. This restaurant is located downtown near the Mekong and opposite the Funky Monkey Backpacker hostel.The menu offers a good range of dishes and includes vegetarian options. The staff are friendly and the service is good.Best of all the food is freshly prepared and they do not use the same masala for every dish as many of the Indian restaurants do in town! Excellent lassi and strong chai (Indian tea) available.

Very good food despite the decrepit rear section. The place is busy, the toilets clean. It seems to have a large long tiles section and a separate backpackers section which was authentically Pakistani shack. The curries are great, salads good. Raita excellent. Samosas had a little too much potato. A good meal anyway.

This place was recommended by a number of people. However I found it disappointing. Nice atmosphere and spacious restaurant - minimalist decor but the food for me was pretty average. I had masala dosa and certainly would not go there again for this. Staff were just a little too "cool" - I guess this place really didn't do much for me.Dear dharmapitt,We're terribly sorry to hear about your experience.
