What I liked initially about this restaurant was the immaculate bar and restaurant area, absolutely gleaming. The staff were very chatty and friendly and the takeaway food was excellent. Definitely worth paying cash to get 20% discount which probably has a link to VAT exemption for not eating in but more than happy to have had £8 deducted from the takeaway menu price whatever the reason.I'd recommend the takeaway food and will be trying the restaurant next time we visit bowness.

Had a lovely meal at Shahibâs whilst staying for one night in Bowness. The food was delicious and came to our table sizzling hot. The staff were very friendly and polite, and even packed our leftovers for us to enjoy at home. We recommend fully Shahibâs for anyone who loves authentic Indian food.

We come here every time we visit the lakes. It never disappoints.This time i had the Chicken Pathia. Oh my God it was amazing. The best I have ever had!The service is always great.One constructive suggestion I would make. The white wine didn't compliment the spices.The Pinot Grigio we had on our last visit was much superior.But keep up the good work. Superb

We searched for a restaurant that would deliver to Ambleside, when we rang them they couldnât deliver but gave us this number. We were able to pay by card over the phone and the delivery was very quick and courteous. The portions were good and exactly what we asked for with some free poppadums and sauce. A life saver on a rainy first day in the Lake District with no food in the house! Lovely Biryani.
