We came here for breakfast one morning and we were very impressed the man Philipo is so helpful and food lovely ! We came back the same night for dinner and we werenât disappointed! Very nice and excellent service hopefully we come back to gouves and get to visit again 5*

This is a very popular taverna/bar on the sea front of Gouves.Generally a nice atmosphere, frequented by mainly English holiday makers.The menu is a mixture of traditional Greek and English meals, would probably suit most peopleâs tastes. At â¬3 a pint and the average meal being â¬8- â¬15 it not a âcheap eatâ but it is a popular place.Our meal arrived hot and freshly cooked after a wait of about 25mins and was tasty and plentiful.There is entertainment on a Saturday evening in October.I imagine this place is much busier in the season.

We visit George every year. The lamb in the oven is the most authentic meal you could dream of. Itâs just amazing. He always remembers us even though itâs one of the most busy restaurants in gouves. He provides gluten free options and his whole family work so hard to give you value for money with excellent quality. We love you George! We will eat there again before we go home. Huge portions. My wife had a pizza was so big we had the second half for lunch the next day. And we paid 22euros for me and my wife 2 mains and 4 drinks. Seriously brilliant.

Beautiful setting, delicious food. We have been visiting Gouves for 15 years, but this was our 1st visit to this taverna. A really extensive menu, so good for meze or full meals. The staff were very helpful explaining dishes we werenât sure of. My husband, who is really difficult to please, was very happy. It is reasonable priced and you always get complimentary honeyed dough balls at end of meal. We went back the following week, just as good.

Had a lovely time here. Very nice atmosphere and excellent choice of Cretan food. Enjoyed the local red wine and I thought the price was very reasonable. Even though we had paid for meals in the hotel, this was the semiconductor time we ate here.

This place came with lots of recommendations but we were not overley impressed. Looks very clean and nice inside but we stood for ages waiting to be seated and were ignored so eventually seated ourselves after asking at the bar and receiving a cursery nod.Food was fine..I has swordfish which they will fillet and bone all for you. We visited the taverna on our 3rd night in Gouves and had a very nice meal. The taverna was typically Greek, which we love and a very friendly place. Food was fabulous.

Visited this restaurant several times for breakfast and evening meal with my friend and could not fault a thing. Full English breakfast with toast, fresh juice and tea/coffee for â¬6.50. Sergiani's has a beautiful setting on the Beach Road nicely decorated in traditional Greek Blue and WhiteThe service was good and there ae plenty of choices on the menu of traditional Greek and Cretan cuisine as well as Mediterranean and fish dishes.My wife had the beef liver and onions and I had Sardines both were delicious and had ample portions.At the end of the meal the manager came over and had a chat wand presented us with a small bottle of ouzo which was a nice touchThere is also a quirky map with flags where you can show where you come from
