We like to have a take away chinese meal with family at Barassie when we are in town. The Po at Troon is what fast food is all about. Great service and excellent food. Staff very friendly. I had the kung po chicken, one of the best I have ever had. The portions are ery generous and offer excellen value for money. £18 for 3 meals is great value for money especially as the food is so good.

I called and placed an order for some kebabs fish and kips and a pizza was told that it would be 30 min or so. Having kid off 6 and 3 along with 4 adults thought this would be ok. After 45 minutes called back and was told that the food was on its way so prepped juice and kids for dinner. Another 30 minutes go by and I call again. Bring told that they were just making it. So 10 min prep + 5 drive expecting in 15 minutes. No another 30 min goes by. Phoned to be told it was on its way. 10 min later meal if you could call it that as every thing was cold arrived. Obviously been to Glasgow and back. No call back no offer of redress free or discounted meal. Shocking service compared to what it use to be still same family but kids run it or should I say running it into ground. Never been back in or called in never will in the future. Certainly not a fast food carry out.

"under old management" and if anything it is better than when they had it previously. The introduction of sweet potato fries and Cajun fries are a great addition to any order, highly recommend. Favourite pizza has to be the Cajun chicken, great value all round.

The quality of the fish suppers are always of a high standard with good portions. The single fish supper is enough for my wife and I. The staff are quietly efficient, with orders presented in a timely manner considering it was a Friday. Good value

After a hot day in Troon, we wanted to go to a chippy to get some fish and chips to take away. We chose here and we werenât disappointed! The food was freshly cooked, the staff were extremely friendly, and it was delicious! Generous portions as well - excellent value for money. Iâd recommend getting it to take away and go down the beach to have your bite - would eat here again.

Didn't expect to be humped because this restaurant had a good reputation in the past, it needs to keep up its appearance as w ell as it's reputation , well be back soon and will expect to see a vast improvement as it would be a great shame if this place went downhill rapidly, please rescue this restaurant as it desperately needs some TLC to rescue it from the ravishes of time, I love coming in here for my lunch or tea , maybe the owners could mount a rescue bid ! it would save jobs and maybe even give a boost to the shop !
