Enjoyed a night's stay here on a recent trip to Slovakia. Room was spacious with a nice view over mountains. Bar staff were friendly.

Nice restaurant with the typical menu you find nearly everywhere in the area but with an excellent exception: the slow-roasted pork (cooked in an outdoor oven) that makes this restaurant stand from the crowd. Prices are average for the area and generally fair. Service is not especially friendly.

Family restaurant with slovak cuisine. Slovak specialitys like halusky with sheep cheese, home made sauerkraut soup, deer goulash, ram goulash, deer steak or horse steak. Delicious homemade cakes.
This was the end of our short holiday in Slovakia, and we rushed back towards Polish border. Small settlement of Tatranska Kotlina is most famous for its Belianska Cave, but the area of car parks serving the cave is surrounded by restaurants and hotels. We randomly picked up U Furmana, which is probably closest to the biggest car park and the rope park, and its supported by budget hotel. Typical Slovak food, with slightly different names often found on the other side of the border too. Quick service, waiters wearing traditional local outfits. Tasty food. Free car park. Outdoor seating right next to the busy trunk road. Would definitely stop there again.
Good food, but not outstanding. Nice staff, though. The building is nice and full of wooden statues which can be entertaining for kids (at least for a while).

This restaurant is situated in the center of the village Zdiar. There is a nice view to Belianske Tatry and it is near to all needed cities around. Just 30km from Poprad, 11km far from borders with Poland and what is great it is placed right on the main r
The food here was delicious and the service was just as good. Had the stuffed chicken breast and the Tatar salad and I would happily come back everyday to have it again. Just a small restaurant/pub but a lovely feel and a great place to eat!

Close to small museum, with a view on Tatra mountains, you can taste some typical Slovak dishes for good prices. Try haluÅ¡ky, strapaÄky or pirohy. The service is nice and quick. However, they only have Czech beer (like everywhere around). This restaurant is nothing fancy but will give you energy for a next walk. Opens at noon.

The Bachledka Strachan restaurant offers a choice of cold and hot dishes. The restaurant is hand-carved in traditional Goral style. In the meals you will find homemade specialties and dishes of Slovak and European cuisine.
Excellent service and great food served in a very traditionally styled restaurant. The restaurant is located right next to the cable car which takes you up the ski-slope to the entertainment area for children
