The location itself is very nice with a bit far view on Portoferraio but directly on the shore.BUT very arrogant attitude from owner who don't respect delays for a table get furious after just when we were waiting 1,5 hour for our table instead of 30 minutes...She got furious when it was pointed out that total of credit cards exceeded the check. So forget about friendly attitude. Waiters were sincerely desolated about this attitude. Fodd was average, very salty...like the bill.

The main restaurant served an excellent full menu; pastas and local seafood, with salad bar, cheeses and dessert buffet. The restaurant staff was icing on an already delicious cake, so to speak. Attentive and friendly, including somehow producing a tiramisu off menu when one was not found on the buffet. When looking for a nice meal with two kids wanting italian pizza La Lampara is good and in a way safe choice. Easy to find by the main street and not far from port for farry they serve good Pizza with nice choice of different varieties.On the other hand the see food risotto was quite plane with no really much of see food and not lacking taste of the Mediterranean.So go for pizza and perhaps some other pasta.

Great decor and ambience ... Contemporary coastal feel with marina views ...Food BOTH days was delicious!I enjoyed the prosciutto Tuscano both times. Today I added an order of sautéed vegetables and ate every bite.My partner enjoyed linguine clams yesterday and a lovely salad with tuna today.Fresh bread sliced for each order.Friendly service.

Second time we have visited that restaurant. Pizza is good, meat dishes also pretty tasty. I can recommend the "Birra Napoleon", this beer is very good and comes in a big bottle. All in all a nice experience if you don't want a fancy place.

We arrived very late, after 10 pm, and they were pleased to welcome us, anyway. Three of us decided to take pizza and the other two fish: we all have been satisfied of our choice and finally they even offered us their homemade liquor, similar to a mix of limoncello and mint. We recommend to try this place :)

Very rarely do we revisit a restaurant when on a short holiday. This time, we were a group of 6 and everything was so good and fresh that we all wanted to go back. Every item was truly delicious and beautifully presented. The proprietor made us feel very welcome and despite the place being booked out still took the time to answer all our questions patiently and without rushing us. There is a good and varied wine list and on both visits the price was extremely reasonable and we left very happy. Will definitely be back if we visit Elba again.

We arrived early 6.45pm as we'd not booked and got a great table on the terrace where we could sit and watch the sunset, simply stunning. The staff were really friendly and attentive the food was delicious, we managed to get through 3 courses 2 glasses of house wine, 1 bottle of beer which was â¬75. The pasta dishes were really tasty but the calamari and mussels we had were amazing, huge portions and really fresh. The chocolate soufle desert was gorgeous. The restaurant is tucked away near Viticcio beach and i would definitely go back. Amazing little place with such a great service.

Typical steakhouse food. I'm from Texas so I'm a little more critical but the meat was cooked well done and the potatoes and grilled veggies were good. I ordered the meat sampler and there was a wiener as one of the meats. I tasted it and it tasted like a generic brand wiener. I guess the German tourist are into this??? Skip the wiener and sausages and get the steaks and chicken. The owner only speaks Italian but one waitress spoke 4 languages.
