Our plane landed very late (23:30 pm) and had to rush to the hotel and then we couldn't find somewhere to eat. This was recommended by the receptionist and he was so right. Great food, even at that hour, great service and very clean restaurant. The owner is a very open person, willing to make us comfortable and always smiling.

We went there for dinner a bit after they opened, the restaurant is well kept and the service was always prompt, professional and friendly.We enjoyed our seafood (fritto misto very much along with amazing vegetables and proper cooked fries)Wine was also great and the sweets delicious also.Pizza looked great, since by the time we left it came full of locals mostly ordering pizza and seafood.It's a bit out of town, but have ample parking and definitely worth it to try it.Best dinner we had in North of Italy this time around.

Bella location, ottimo servizio ed una pizza davvero eccellente. Cenare all'aperto è piacevole e la posizione, di fronte al Parco del fiume Serio, assicura una buona ventilazione. had heard good things about this restaurant and reserved a table over 2 weeks in advance. The restaurant cancelled 3 hours before the booking by email. Would have expected more notice. Clearly dont want my type of business. Did a quick search on la forchette 10 minutes after receiving the cancellation and they still had availabilty. Will go elsewhere in futureDear Sir.We're sorry about that. We couldn't confirm the reservation.We started to call you in the morning by phone and we sent an email as well. All of that in THE MORNING. We cancel the reservation after six hours trying to get in contact with you.YOU DID NOT ANSWER. Whenever in Bergamo, we always take the time to go Don Luis' for good Northern Italian food with a modern touch. Their "foiade," homemade pasta shaped like small lasagnas, are worth the trip. The owners of the restaurant, who personally assist the customers with the menu, are originally from Veneto, and some of the dishes, like the baccala, combine Bergamo, once a Venetian city but now in Lombardy, with Veneto. The wine list is small, but well chosen and very affordable. Polenta and, for the brave of heart, lumache, guarantee a touch of the authentic. For those who don't care about that, the menu is friendly and with a large selection. Too bad the restaurant is not located in Bergamo and requires some planning to go there. Worth the trip.

I had my wedding there this June.I also ate at the restaurant few times in the past.We had the most amazing wedding we could ever have. 150 guests from Italy, Spain and UK. Everyone has eaten so well. Very well presented plates, more food was offered after every plate, we have eaten so much and so well!The staff was amazing during the day but also during the previous year, while organising for the big day. Carolina, the wedding planner of Villa Canton, helped me so much! She sorted out flowers, napkins, decoration, ceremony in the garden, presentation of the location and much more.I could not have been able to organise a wedding from abroad. I live in UK and I only have seen Carolina three times in person before the wedding. Once we tried the menu and a couple of time we've seen each other to sort out few details. We organised everything by email, and absolutely everything was perfect!Romeo too, an other member of the staff, help us a lot before and during the wedding. He sorted out few things by what's app with my husband and he was great even holding and entertaining my three months old baby during few special moments the day of the wedding.We were able to organise arial silk and stilt walkers shows. We could have music outside in the garden during the aperitifs, as long the music was not loud, and in few rooms inside. We used the whole villa being able to move guests in several different ambients, we made the most of it being able to enjoy the beautiful garden and the amazing painted rooms.Our guests told us our wedding was better than a Hollywood's one, thanks to location, food and entertainment. We will never thanks Carolina and the rest of the staff enough for making our special day really so special. We can't recommend Villa Canton enough!! For us it's like home now..we have to go back every so often to keep the magic flow!

Perhaps our expectations were too high, but we left with a feeling of disappointment. The meal and service started at the expected high level but as the restaurant continued to fill, the service level dropped. Maybe we were unlucky and even the best restaurant can have a bad day but the truth is that having acquired 3 stars does oblige an establishment to maintain the level.

The most critical aspect is that one could never find it, unless a very good friend bring him along :)Maison Florian is up above the precious ancient Benedictine abbey of San Paolo d'Argon, 20 km East of Bergamo towards Iseo lake, right on the border of Franciacorta: a top-end wine area.Coming to the food: it is barely genial. Very tasty, all that we tasted. Very well presented. Most of the recipes are representative of the local cuisine and they are interpreted in a modern way without distoring their origins.The furniture, the table cloth and napkins are perfectkly chosen and the panorama is superb. Do not worry for the wines as a wide choice is available.

At Nasturzio I've had a variety of visual, olfactory, and gustatory experiences.The quality of the "unusual" food, and how it is prepared and presented, is something really delicious.The chefs are super, as well the staff at the tables who are nice and professional at the meantime.The price is ok, also.Plus, I like a lot the minimal look of the restaurant, where you have to be concentrated on the dishes.

Osteria Del Piajo is the restaurant connected to the wonderful Piajo Hotel. I have enjoyed lunch here on two occasions (a year apart) both in the middle of summer when the surrounding mountainside is green and lush and the high temperatures compliment the cold wine. On both occasions the food has been exceptional, a simple menu excellently prepared and presented. Definitely worth a visit.
