Find out what European restaurants to try in Manali. In Hinduism, Manu was said to have survived a great flood that destroyed the rest of the world. He then recreated mankind in this Kullu Valley town. What a rush, huh? No wonder the towering peaks and verdant terrain of Manali attracts adventure travelers, with heli-skiing, hiking, mountaineering and river rafting the favored active pursuits. Come down from your endorphin high by breathing deeply at the four-story, wooden Hidimba Devi Temple, which sits in the middle of a nearby deciduous forest, or take a medicinal soak in the hot springs burbling from the ground a 30-minute walk from town.

Probably the only Italian restaurant in Kullu. Quite famous with the locals. Went their with a friend for lunch. Outside seating is better with a good view. You can also hear the river flowing next to this place. Food is average. Pizzas were good and so was the garlic bread. Also ordered for spaghetti in pesto which was not upto the mark at all. Menu pricing slightly high for the place and the city.

The best pizzeria in North India, also serves wonderful European cuisine. Ideally located just across the stream from Old Manali.
A very charming placeBeautifully done up..a vegetarian place. We ordered their signature pizza ..a nice thin crust wholesome delicious pizza..just a warning...don't add the hot chilli olive oil since the pizza was quite hot by itself..quite flavourful . Their bruschetta was also delicious!Unfortunately their fireplace was not in working order and somehow no music was playing..Thank you for taking the time to write back to us. We are glad you enjoyed the food. Very sorry about the non working stove and no music.

Rose Garden is undoubtedly pretty, offering great food. However, you might not want to waste your time looking at something which does not define the real Manali. This is an enclosed garden with negligible view of the mesmerizing mountains. Considering you're a nature lover, i would suggest you to make the most of your trip to this beautiful valley. So if you got me, try some open cafes and river-side restaurants. Have a wonderful stay :)

We reached Drifter's cafe quite early in the morning straight after our long journey from Delhi. The cafe wasn't open yet and the staff was still cleaning, but looking at our tired faces and heavy backpacks, they offered us to sit in the cafe, kept our luggage in their office and served us a quick tea. We spent around 3 hour there and had a great time. The owner & staff was very polite and friendly. The food was delicious and the music they played was amazing. Thanks alot ReetkaurWe are happy to help you to make most of you holidays, we are Glad that you loved our hospitality and sure to meet you soon againRegardsGarima

Il Forno in Manali offers authentic Italian cuisine, served in an exceptional apple orchard setting with stunning views of the Himalaya. The cottage built Circa 1860 in the Western Himalayan Kathkuni architecture style has both indoor & al-fresco seating.
The location, food, and service were impeccable. The sitting arrangement was also very good. We tried a wood oven pizza and we went after lunch and thought we won't be able to finish it. but the pizza was so delectable that we couldn't stop ourself from overeating. PS we:- myself and five years old son
