jsme stálými vÃkendovými hosty již pÄknou Åadu let...pamatujeme zaÄátky a postupné vylepÅ¡ovánà až do této podoby....upÅÃmnÄ nevÃm, co bylo lepÅ¡Ã. dÅÃve pohoda, klid, skvÄlé piveÄko, maximálnÄ utopenci, hermelÃn a klobása.V souÄasnosti je problém najÃt volné mÃsteÄko a o klidu už nenà možné hovoÅit vůbec. Hafo alkoholuholdujÃcÃch cyklistů, strávnÃků a jiných náhodných kolemjdoucÃch, nebo´t posezenà je tÄsnÄ u silnice...výborné pivo zůstalo, pÅidalo se dobré jÃdlo, jen ten klidek vymizel. Obdivujeme pana majitele, že vÅ¡e zvládá.

My family and I visited several restaurants in Kasperske Hory and this one was the best by far. We went there twice during our stay as we loved the food and the service was way better than in the other restaurants in the village. They have swings and slides outside for children which kept mine entertained for the duration.The only downfall is that they haven't got menus in English (German and Czech only) so if you don't speak either of those languages then you will have to chance it :-) ... I'd recommend the restaurant to anyone.

After peeping into all Vimperk's restaurants, we have chosen Vodnik and it was really good choice. Romantic place with terrace over small pond was very nice in late summer, our children appreciated the wooden playground and well maintained lawn area. We had an excellent food - the best we had during our stay in the whole Sumava region. They have asked us how we like the steak and made it exactly the right way. Home made lemonade and american lemonade was sooooo refreshing and tasty. Perfect place for any occasion. They also organize weddings including ceremony, which I can imagine to be just magical there. I must also stress the perfect service and very nice and friendly staff. Definitely recommed for visit.Thank you very much for your opnion!

Na vesnickou hospůdku musÃm ÅÃct, že vaÅà velice dobÅe, vÅ¡ichni jsme si pochutnali. PÅÃstup obsluhy sice troÅ¡ku lážo plážo, sleÄna kolem nás proÅ¡la 4x než nás ve finále pÅiÅ¡el obsloužit kolega. Ale jinak si nestÄžuji.

Zlatá Stezka is one of the small family owned restaurants in Modrava. Due to crowds, that usually come here in lunchtime, it can be a bit hectic in this time of day.I reccommend to come here for dinner 6.00-8.00 p.m. Their terace has nice view, the staff is more relaxed and the food excellent. Their beef-cheaks are just wonderfull.Very good are almost all traditional Czech meals from their long menu. Beer is good - Pilsner Urquell.This is not cosmopolitan restaurant, not a hipster place, not international focused place - it is small family owned restaurant with traditional local food and staff.In Modrava Zlata Stezka is my first choice, when it comes to good food.

This place has everything to be great. Wonderful location, nicely reconstructed building, own beer, but a lot of it is wasted by ignorance of staff. There were four waitresses, one great, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, one arrogant and lazy for who everything was a problem and two seasonal, who had no idea. Place is really lovely. Beer good but food average although it could be great. Small details spoil it all. We ordered clean water which was automatically served with lemon, which we hate. Tasty cabbage soup was small and more than half were potatoes. Traditional Czech cabbage potato dumplings with beacon home made , but too salty and cabbage destroyed with vinegar. Beef excellent, but in terribly sweet sauce. Cold chicken served with salad, but where you would expect fried ciabatta or rolls we got Czech Sumava bread.I really had wished this place to be great , but feel pity for the wasted opportunity. You canât get rid of the feeling of provincialism.

Restaurace a penzion jsou na krásném mÃstÄ, Filipova HuÅ¥, a to nás zlákalo. Obsluha ale hroznÄ pomalá, má problém obsloužit vÄtÅ¡Ã skupinky. JÃdlo naprostý průmÄr, ceny sice rozumné, ale nijak to nenadchne. PÅes obÄd a odpoledne pouze hotovky.

Visited in January 2019 on ski-tour. Weather was wery snowy, so we were glad to find this pub/restaurant. We refreshed ourselves with some meals and hot wine. Beautiful old-fashioned stove inside where you can dry your gloves or shoes in the winter. Prices of meals and drinks are at the mountain level. Hot wine 50 CZK, meals 140 CZK.

We have stopped for one night on our trip in Bavarian-Czech forest and we were disappointed. The pension has OK rooms and bath and very nice setting, but the rest was disappointing. The place is set up for all visitors including families with babies and dogs running around during breakfast and dinner. The reception ( pleasant lady) could not find a receipt that hotel took 1/2 payment up front. The restaurant did not have any typical Czech meal, selection was weird and the food was grossly overpriced. The restaurant décor was dated and worn out in comparison with a Bavarian pensions on other side of the mountains just a few miles away. No screens in the rooms window so you need to keep it close to not been eaten alive by mosquitoes. The service personnel fits above - average with no frills. Not recommended.

We had one dinner in the restaurant and the food was average - we had a beef consommé, goat cheese salad and filet of trout. There was nothing wrong with the food but the taste was just normal. The waiter was quite impolite with the kids. Otherwise the service was standard.
