This restaurant is located perfectly to see the little house on Drina. If you stay on the patio you have a great view of the unique house and over Drina river. This is definitely a major advantage for this place and a reason in itself to go there. In our experience the service was however not good and the waiter was even a little bit rude. As the restaurant was quite busy when we arrived we were expecting some waiting, but with two wrong orders and long waiting time on top of that, our experience was quite negative. The food was average.

If you are staying at Vila Drina there are only two places to eat nearby so you really have little choice but to eat here. Service isnât great, limited English spoken which makes things challenging. We were brought the wrong meals on the first occasion, although they did happily correct the error, and half the food was cold on the second visit. Many of the options on the menu were not available. Good luck if you are vegetarian, itâs basically chips, salad and cheese for you. They wouldnât even cook an omelette for my veggie son because it was after breakfast time. There is very little outside lighting, and no candles or anything on the tables, so as soon as the sun goes down you canât see what you are eating anyway.Dear Claire K,We are very sorry to hear that this was only a necessity for you and your family.Unfortunately, at this moment we are fighting with a huge problem of lack of good and quality staff.Most of the well-trained waiters and waitresses (mostly young people) are frequently leaving our region and goes to Adriatic or Ionian sea looking for better salaries, better chances. In any case, thank you for your constructive and objective comments. This will help us to do our best to change things and make them better on an overall level in the restaurant which deserves extremely better services and we are all aware of that.

Located in National park Tara, green jewel of west Serbia, it offers a variety of traditional food characteristic for this area. Daily menu is based on breakfast and other domestic dishes for very affordable prices. Since itâs basically a wine house, it offers a rich menu of very good wines as well as beers and domestic Serbian Rakia. After a good walk its a great place to strengthen yourself. Truly recommend!

Imali smo srece sa vremenom ove jeseni, obilazeci Zlatibor, Zlatar i Taru. Jedno od mesta gde smo svratili bilo je i Zaovinsko jezero na Tari, tj. restoran "Tarsko jezero", koji se nalazi 50-tak metara od brane. Restoran pleni pogledom, koji oduzima dah pri samom ulasku, koji puca na okolne padine i zaseok sa jezercetom. Vidi se da je sa ljubavlju radjeno na njegovom opremanju, zavrsni radovi su kvalitetni, toplinu daje drvo koje dominira prostorom i ogromna prozorska okna koja odvajaju unutrasnost od terase. Prijatan ambijent upotpunio je konobar, savetima sta i koliko uzeti a ne preterati. Bio je u pravu za sve sto smo porucili. Prirodno ljubazan, gorstacki gostoprimljiv, ni malo snishodljiv a urodjeno skroman. Cistoca je bila na zavidnom nivou, za svaku pohvalu (licno sam prijatno iznenadjen). Klopa je poseban dozivljaj, kvalitet posebno ali to cu ostaviti vama da otkrijete. Sa domacom rakijom, nigde necete pogresiti, pa ni ovde. Cene su za 1/3 nize nego beogradske. Dakle svaka preporuka, ako hocete da se izolujete od svake civilizacije (razlog vise je i stavljanje mob na flihgt mode zbog blizine Bosne). Uzivajte.
