Its current name means "white mountain" in Kazakh, which may be due to its cliffs that overlook the Caspian. From 1964 to 1991 city was known as Shevchenko (Russian: Шевченко, Kazakh: S'evc'enko). Its former name was given due to the eponymous Ukrainian poet's period of exile in the area. It is located on the Mangyshlak Peninsula and is the capital of Mangystau Region.

Being on a working trip in Aktau, living in Green Park Block of Flats, visited quite often for lunch or dinner. All dishes were fresh, tasty, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Cozy place for a solo traveller or a group of people.

A good mix regarding food quality, location, decor and view. What was weird is that we were given 3 different menus from different restaurants. They are all neighbors and possibly belong together. We had kebab skewers with bread and hummus, also burger and fries. Everything was very good, but the portions are rather small and due to the location at the shore of the Caspian Sea also pricier. We had to order bread to be satisfied. The restaurant is very nice, high ceilings and bright with big windows facing the Caspian Sea. They have sofas where you sit really comfy. We would visit again. A good indicator is that there are always tables 'Reserved' by locals. Good range of dishes. The steaks are big and well cooked and all portions are very generous. We've been quite a few times and I've always had something different off the menu and never been disappointed. Especially good (and popular with the kids) are the European style Chicken and Chips! The staff are attentive and friendly. There are menus in English.Family atmosphere and always someone at the door to welcome you.

The first thing you notice is the decor - it's very trendy - industrical chic with great lights and comfortable seating. The staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. We've turned up and despite most tables being booked they have managed to find a table for us. Customer relations are fantastic. The service doesn't change even when the restaurant is full.The food is always very good and we've tried lots of things from the menu including steaks, burgers, fish, chashashuli, chachapuri, pizzas, potato pancakes, salads etc. The desserts are good particularly the chocolate fondant. It is priced slightly higher than most places but it's a small price to pay when you are assured of beautiful surroundings. The toilets are also very modern and clean.Great place to take people when entertaining or to go to as a group. At the weekend they have entertainment which has always been good.Only slight downside is that sometimes they don't have the wines on the menu - and they are a bit pricy too (compared to what other restaurants charge).

The big choice on different menu , open a assorted way to found a satisfactory food !Good quality of ingredients , with special emphasis on soup and vegetables dishes.Satisfactory level of Italian specialties as pizza , good beers and not so interesting list of wines compared with level of cousin.

Nice place and probably the best meat in town - you can find a large variety and the staff is nice and helpful. Only negative point is the service, not too organize and slow - we always go there as a group and between the first person get its food and the last one it could pass 20-30 min.Enjoy.
