Our family enjoyed the food and drinks. Suitable for kids, and adults. (Two kids under 12 years) The service was excellent - the people were very nice and kind. We would definitely come here again! Menus in Italian and English but very local, fresh produce.

Just off the A1 motorway exit, this place could be seen as the typical stop for the sales rep in a hurry. Which it probably is, but the quality of it... As you enter, you are surprised: it's a motorway supermarket of the highest quality (cheese, ham, cured meats, wines, balsamic vinegar, all the possible typical local produce from the gastronomic capital of Italy...), but with a bar and also tables (in three separate areas) where you can have the most mouth-watering lunch. And a glass (or a bottle!) of great wine, if you are not driving. A fantastic surprise.

Visiting i luoghi Verdiani Busseto and Sant 'Agata, we came across this little restaurant in the nearby village of Frescarolo. What a pleasant surprise and well worth the few km drive. For lunch, come early, as it filled up with locals and tourists alike. There was no menu, so we stuck to the waitresses recommmendations: Piatto di prosciutto e salame, pasta, anatra e faraona al forno con patatine, insalata, vino Lambrusco della casa, acqua, caffè, digestivo, pane e coperto (all for two). Everything prepared fresh and of excellent quality. Total: € 50 ! What more can you say! We will definitely come again!

A bit hidden away in the countryside, but this is part of the charme. Cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Excellent choice of different, local dishes, with sufficient choice also for vegetarians. Portions are abundant, and the quality is absolutely great. Lovely place, and we will definitely be back!

The most perfect lunch spot in Parma! I came here with 12 contractors and stoped for lunch. Their charcuteri is among the best I ever tasted after spending 10 years and more than 25 business trips in the area. The Culaccia is excellent! Try with the Terre Verdiande Lambrusco N.V.

At the arrival we were received with a warm welcome and showed to our table by a waitress, another served us an aperitivo and another took first orders…..and this was the first flaw…..being served by too many people enabled us to be followed correctly. In fact when we needed an information about one of the dishes, one of us had to get up and search a person from the staff cause we didn’t have a handler. For appetizer we had 12-24-36 months cured culatello with focaccia bread, it was very good but while we were finishing the ham slices the waiter (one of them) took away the serving plate with the rest of focaccia bread which was supposed to accompany the dish we were still finishing. For first course we had ravioli with burrata cheese and white rabbit ragù sauce and risotto with salami and porcini mushrooms, I am attaching the picture of the menu as you can see it seems a “white” risotto……what arrived was a risotto full of tomato that covered completely any other taste while the porcini mushrooms were tiny and hard to find………the ravioli were good and the sauce also but they were a part, no harmony in the dish and it was very dry.For dessert we read in the menu about a typical “Duchessa cake”, we asked the waitress serving us to explain what is was……she used some specific patisserie term and when I asked to explain better she had a very smarty attitude. When she told us there was zabaione, my partner said “no, thank you, I can’t eat zabaione”….so we decided to take a dessert called “Chocolate pyramid with Chantilly cream” Well the sweet had some yellow drops on it and asking the waiter (who obviously wasn’t the one who took the order) we were told it was zabaione!!!!………….what in the menu was called Chantilly cream was the yellow cream you see in the photo…..and when I tried to contest the waiter insisted in an arrogant way that that was how Chantilly cream was supposed to be….…..I suggest to check out on Google the recipe…..I guess the review speeks for itself……….place not recommendedDear Madam,We regret you were not fully satisfied with our Restaurant. With reference to your comments, we would like to explain to you as follows.Service is so important as cuisine, that's why each waiter has his/her role: one welcomes the guests and takes them to the table, another one offers them something to drink and serves them during the meal. This way of service characterises a Restaurant service quality. When appetizer is over, our waiters are used to removing the dishes in order to proceed with the other courses. Focaccia was removed because Culatello is served with this kind of bread, so once Culatello is consumed, waiter has to remove the empty dishes. However, on each table there is a basket full of differenti bread varieties.Risotto with salami and mushrooms is guarnished with red sauce: this is a traditional recipe of our Restaurant. On the menù we do not write Risotto is "white"... As regards Ravioli, sauce is placed directly on the dish in order to allow our Guest to enjoy the recipe nuances.Zabaione is not present in the Chocolate pyramid with Chantilly cream. However, some drops of zabaione are present on the dish as guarnishing but they do not come in touch with the dessert. This guarnishing is tought to the chefs during their training; we apologise ourselves if you were not informed about it. We hope you will come back in order to enjoy another meal.

Great food with very attentive staff. Started with a plate of mixed meats, Felino Salami, Culaccia Rossi, Prosciutto of Parma etc. All excellent quality and obviously local. We then had the steak, which was well prepared, tender and tastefully mature. Washed down with a beautiful local Lambrusco Fiore Di Bosco from a small vineyard nearby, Too full for more food, so coffe and a home made Sloe liqueur. DOn't wait to pass this way, make an effort to visit. It is a lovely walled town with a moated castle at its centre.

We were taking a slow afternoon through Fontanelleto and stopped by this little restaurant to admire the cheese. We decided to stay for lunch, and thank goodness we did! Our lovely waitress put together a special meat plate for my husband so we could compare culatello to culaccia and I had the ricotta gnocchi with saffron sauce. Delicious! And so much fun.

I found the prices very honest, the staff extremely kind. Torta frutta and salumi were good, while I found very anonymous the first courses (both the gramigna and tortelli). Desserts were standard. The place is quite recent and I think it still has to find its own identity, insisting more on the inn side than on that restaurant. For example, I found the insistence with which the raw materials are explained exaggerated (sometimes annoying), praising their superb qualities that frankly it's hard to find when tasting the dish. I think there is a good starting point on which refining the identity of the restaurant

Wonderful! We are traveling through Italy on vacation and chose this restaurant based on its ratings on TripAdvisor as we often do, but I have to say it really exceeded expectations. The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere in a pretty part of town, close to the attractions of the center. We were warmly welcomed and got great advice on the menu and choice of wine. The dishes are made with traditional local ingredients, enhanced by the creativity of the chef, and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!
