Have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. Good quality at a reasonable price. Service has always been good, very polite staff. Have always felt comfortable eating here. I know it's a chain restaurant but they still maintain a good standard.

Me and my husband visited this place after looking extensively for some authentic, good north Indian food but came out very disappointed. The decor of the place was fine but the choices in the menu were not as many as I hoped for. Nonetheless, we ordered 1 mocktail ( don't remember the name now) and veg gilauti kebab for starters. The cocktail tasted ok and so were the kebab. But at this time what struck me most was that at the price of a 4 star hotel's food, what I was getting was surely way below the expectation both quality and quantity wise. For main course we ordered a chicken based curry ( dont remember the name), butter naan and garlic naan. The chicken curry was such a major disappointment that i virtually ate my butter naan for the meal ( which thankfully was fine). The portion of the curry was astonishingly small, it's gravy was quite tasteless and chicken pieces were hard to find. The chicken was also not at all succulent. Overall it was a sheer disappointment and nowhere remotely close to Delhi food. I am not sure if it was just an off day or is it always the case here, but I will not be visiting this place again for sure.

My name is Vishal... Two days back me and my friends planned up to stay a decent and well furnished hotel when we visited Visakhapatnam as a tourist spot but no ways were we ever suggested a good hotel. Then after looking on the hotels in the net we found this place called "Hotel Akshaya"!. As per the reviewers and their reviews me and my friends decided to stay at the hotel. After our stay for one day itself everyone of us were fully satisfied with the staff members, the services, the amusements provided and most importantly the service provided to us. We are seriously happy for what services we were delivered with! The food .. and all things provided to us were more than just being good.. Everything up here is way easy to fetch in low cost price too.I suggest everyone who Vizag ! Have a stay at such a great Hotel! :)

This restaurant is located in the quiet rear of the hotel far away from the busy horn blowing street. The menu has Chinese, Continental, as well as standard Indian choices. We liked the Fish & Chips for our noon to 3 PM lunchtime. Attentive staff in formal setting.

Iconic retaurant @Taj Gateway Visakhapatnam, which was originally a full range Taj Hotel has stood strong serving its guests with full range Buffet breakfast and dinner for long and even in the faceof the Hud Hud storm in 2014.I have time and again visited this restaurant along with my spouse Bidisha, whose favourite Chef de Partie - Shri Ashok Kumar Josh has been iconicwith fish grills and kebabs for over a decade now.When we visited once again after 4 years, on 14th of March,2017, we ordered the catch of the day fish, cooked with white mustard or black mustard sauce or steam cooked with green chilli and mustatd marination served with Basmati rice.The mutton and fish kebabs are juicy and soft and is a must try.I prefer this restaurant for Ala carte over buffet and recommended this as a must visit for your epicurean delight.

We had a splendid visit at the restaurant. We were celebrating a special occasion and the staff made us feel like family. The service was phenomenal and the live music gave the night an extra special edge The ambience of the place is so breezy and itâs easy to feel at home.
