After numerous internet searches attempting to locate a menu for this place, we called the sunflower to ask about a menu and were directed to Facebook, not everyone chooses to use social media these days and as one of those people I was forced to ask about vegetarian options over the phone. This is the first Chinese I have ever come across who do not serve tofu/ beancurd so that was a bit of a worry from the outset. The sunflower were not providing home delivery despite their advertising saying otherwise. Despite this we wanted to give it a go and ordered a vegetable chow mein, a portion of vegetable rice, a carton of curry sauce and a portion of water chestnuts which would usually come to about £11 at my local Chinese restaurant. The bill was £17.67 which was a shock but there was worse to come. My water chestnuts were actually 80% bamboo shoots. The vegetable chow mein was stuffed with frozen carrots which is an absolute no no for me. Needless to say we barely touched the the meal and wonât be coming back. I believe that the sunflower has a good customer base for meat lovers, but if you are more plant based in your diet, donât eat here.

Just ordered a delivery from here. It's a Saturday evening. Waited over an hour for it to arrive and there is an item missing. Also, they have sent the wrong spring rolls. We have tried to ring back and it is constantly engaged. We have now ended up having to make our own rice. Not impressed at all.

We have been eating from Happy House since we arrived in Denbigh a few months ago and we have never been disappointed with the food or the service. It speaks volumes when you walk in to a take-away and there are reams of white paper orders sitting on the back waiting to be filled. This place is busy for good reason so it's worth phoning an order in before collecting it so you're not kept waiting.
