Early morning coffee and pastry crowd on the strip in Oia. Several mornings enjoying the early light over the caldera. This is across from Fileria Suites, and opens out onto both the road and the marble strip in center of Oia. Simple, local, regular folks, getting their morning food and coffee before heading off to work. Loved it.

Really enjoyed their fried egg and bacon on toast. Just as you know it's more like ham then bacon. Server was so sweet and friendly. Only negative thing were people eating and smoking right next to us. But overall, a great place for breakfast.

You MUST find this place....cakes to die for... savory section with zucchini pie etc... but did I mention the cakes... mocka like mum made, coffees, beer, cocktails.... did I mention the cakes?They also do breakfast according to the menu.The owner was fantastic... we talked about ozo... and one appeared.A must.

The view of this place is great as almost any bar in the area. The ambience is out of date. We ordered a Caesar salad which was tasteful and cocktails that were also ok. It wasnât something extremely special but also there wasnât something bad! The staff was friendly but it needs training !!!

Stopped here hoping to find a decent latte. I ordered a latte with sugar since they have no flavors. I also ordered it to go thinking we might sit for just awhile before we continued our walk. Anyway, the coffee wasn't bad but far from what I'm used to in the USA plus the cup which I paid 4.50 euros was only about 8 ounces and only half full. My wife insisted I ask for a full cup which I didn't\, not wanting to be an "ugly tourist," and then almost immediately we were asked to leave in a rather rude fashion since we'd ordered it to go. Fortunately this was the only bad experience we had in any cafe on the island. Anyway, I wished I had read the many other negative reviews here as it would have saved us from a negative experience.

We came to Mes Amis for our first dinner in Oia as we wanted something near our hotel and were so pleasantly surprised. Itâs not in Oia itself but has great views over the town and the sea. And because it is a little further out it was a bit more peaceful. Had the best moussaka here (and I had one every night after) couldnât find one that had the same quality meat and cheese. Really lovely friendly service and great wine. Desserts were quite expensive though so we wondered into Oia for something sweet.
