Unfortunately every time I call in Greggs for so called hot food it's always luke warm. Checked on their web site and in their FAQs it answers why their food isn't always warm. Something to do with vat. So I no longer shop in Greggs anywhere.

A wonderful place to eat at, I'd been here several times before and always enjoyed it. This time was no exception, thoroughly enjoyed the food and drink there.I had ordered brilliant meals like cottage pie, pie and mash but this time I ordered a full English, and well it blew me away. Lovely sausages, bacon, hash-browns literally anything that is on a full english was there. Egg could have been a bit runny instead of firm but that's ok. I was with my bro and it came to £12 for two meals and a drink which I thought was a fair price with a generous portion of food. Will definitely be here again once that breakfast weight has been shifted hehe. Kudos to the staff, always a pleasant and wonderful place to eat.

Finding somewhere for a coffee on a Sunday evening post 4.30pm that isn't a pub (and I've yet to find a pub with a decent coffee) outside of the biggest cities is a challenge.Having almost given up in Kidderminster town centre, passing the Severn Valley Railway site I noticed some lights. Pulling up and going inside I found a pub and two cafes, one on the old station concourse and another inside the adjoining KIdderminster Railway Museum. The museum is a quirky collection of rail signage and old equipment, and the small cafe uses original station benches. The menu includes toasted tea cakes, chilli, and home made cakes. The coffee includes an instant filter type which I found to be better than what you get out of most machines and franchises these days, and very competitively priced.I was really delighted to come across this at 5pm on a Sunday. It is open until the last steam train arrives, which can be as late as 6.30pm, depending on the time of year.Great independent cafe!

Now called 'Gil's' this is a small and quaint village restaurant serving breakfasts and light lunches. The food is freshly prepared to order with wholesome ingredients (gorgeous bread) and nicely presented, for very little cost e.g. crab and prawn sandwich with salad £5.50. You can also have a lovely afternoon tea. Highly recommended and a pleasant change from pub food.Thank you very much indeed. We do ensure everything is fresh and the bread of course is baked locally and delivered daily. I think we're excellent value and you're right, it is a nice change. Having a pub as a neighbour is great for visitors as they have a choice and it's nice to have both in the village. Thanks again and see you soon. Gil
