The Parkfield Inn offers fresh home cooked, English food with a range of locally brewed cask ales. All served in a warm comfortable environment with friendly and effecient staff.
The food here is always amazing, and after a little disappointing end on our previous visit, the lovely landlady certainly made amends this visit. On arrival she immediately came over and explained why the chef had left before our grandaughters were unable to order desserts last time we were there, and offered all of us a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal, which I feel was a lovely gesture and restored our faith in this lovely local establishment.Looking forward to our next visit already, trying to work our way through the delicious Tapas menu.Certainly recommend a visit for anyone who hasn't yet experienced this lovely place,

This place has gone massively down hill. Food was very very average indeed and turned into a common bistro you would see in the depths of Salford music blaring and full of scallys (although part not necessarily the restaurants fault) however they can turn people away for being dressed like they are going to park life!! No specials anymore and main courses just bland!! I would like to add say the staff were very friendly and did a good job

Cocktail bar and all day eatery. Brunch, burgers & burritos, everything good in life!
This is the place to come for some great burgers. The loaded fries are pretty good too. Service was friendly and capable.

We are a Wine, Ale and Cheese shop...and a Liquor store...Everything is priced to take away, but can enjoyed in for a small corkage fee. Huge selection of Old and New World wines carefully selected to suit every budget!
This was my third or fourth visit at Grape to Grain and my first events night and I was not disappointed we were lucky enough to taste some festive drinks and have a Godâs natter and giggle at the same time. After the cocktails me and my sister sampled some wines and enjoyed a lovely cheese & meats board which was delicious canât wait for the next one!

Went there for dinner..on checking restaurant hours we found out last orders for dinner was 8pm but we decided to phone and check and we were informed it was now 7.30 so we rushed to get there. Got there ordered and food took 40mins while we ordered we asked if we had to order our desserts with the rest of the food and were told that we could order any time, went back an hour later after dinner to order and were told kitchen was closed. All in all food is good service dreadful. Waitresses unfriendly and service really slow at the bar and restaurant Hi, thankyou for your review, Iâm sorry you feel you didnât have a great experience with us, food service is until 8pm during the week and then 9pm on Friday and Saturday unless we are extremely backed up with checks which is what happened and why food service will have stopped slightly earlier, Iâm sorry about the wait for your food you experienced too but again this was due to the kitchen being very busy although you should have been told about the wait on food as you were ordering so I can only apologise for this. I will speak to my team about ensuring they are making customers fully aware. Thankyou for your feedback and I hope it hasnât put you off trying us again.ThanksCayley

Lovely environment.... I had the spicy red lentil & mungo pea Dahl with rice and chapatis...The waitress warned me that is was quite spicy and that the chef describes it as 'flavoursome' and it was indeed. It was a very generous portion, I couldn't manage to eat it all. The latte was also very nice and the tap water was served with ice and lemon in a lovely glass... I would definitely eat here again...Thank you crowded house....

We have eaten here many times without any issue although this time was upsetting. This was the start of a birthday and wanted to be served breakfast rather than cook it. I ordered oven roasted tomatoes on chargrilled sourdough (£7.20?) at that price I would expect something special. The toast came burnt not charred ( I am a chef by trade and known the difference). I brought it to the attention of the waiter so the problem could be resolved. What we did not expect was attitude, this upset me and not what we expected. The dish was brought back tomatoes on bread, like I have stated at that price you would expect something special. I didnât want to upset the day further so I did not mention anything further, although we were not meal checked. Disappointing visit and if not for no problems in the past this would have been a lower score.

Visited for the first time on Friday 1/11 with 3 girlfriends. The staff here are very attentive. The food was nice all four of us having different meals. Itâs quite an upmarket restaurant with chandeliers and comfy couch seating area and very brightly lit, however really noisy as the acoustics lend themselves to enhancing everyoneâs conversations so quite hard to hear ourselves. Dear JanMEngland,First I would like to thank you for the visit and taking the time to share a review. We do take great care in providing the best food and service to our guests. We are glad to know that you and your girlfriends have enjoyed the meals and the attentive service we provided. However, we can see that you had difficulty hearing each other because of the noise created by the acoustics. We will be sure to forward this on to the management to fix the issue urgently.Hope on your next visit, we will meet your expectations fully.

We were seated on arrival and menus given. We had an afternoon tea voucher but was told we could use it for anything off the menu and put to if it went over £33. Ten minutes later our drinks order was taken, we waited about 15 minutes before our drinks came. We did noticed others had come in after us but had drinks and food before we even got drinks. Our afternoon tea arrived on the 3 tier stand, looked very nice. I ran out of tea and asked for some hot water as I like my tea very weak, the waitress said I will get you a fresh pit as itâs complimentary. Ten minutes later a young waitress came to see if we had finished, we asked for a box to put our cakes in to take home. I asked if she could see if my pot of tea was coming and she said ok. Sat another 15 minutes still no tea so I said come on letâs pay and go as it doesnât look like the teas coming. Went to pay and the waitress that said she would get me a fresh pot of tea was stood with 2 others chatting. I asked were I paid and went and paid. Food was good , first pot of tea was lovely pity I didnât get the second one and would say service was iggledy piggledy. Not a very good first impression.
