We're back from Shropshire and with the children this time. We noticed that they have a children's menu now but to fair, we didn't have the children with us last time so probably wouldn't have noticed!!! My husband had the Porter House steak and said it was the best he'd ever had.Can't wait until we are in the area again so we can come back for our 3rd time!Thanks so much for.your continues support, I'll get another massive steak ready for the next time your in! X

We have always rated Kim's kitchen as one of the best,but following our visit for breakfast today I'm afraid to say it's going down hill. The state of the sauce bottle on the table was enough to put you off. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast, well when it arrived my husband and myself both said at the same time "what's that" the egg was scarce to say the least. My husband ordered the large breakfast and when that arrived at the table it was obviously not right as there was only one egg and hash brown, the waitress was told and an extra egg and hash brown were bought out on a small plate.So on reflection would I go again ? To be honest only if Standards improved. Shame really as we always looked forward to going, especially as you can take your dog in and they provide a sausage for the dog.We feel itâs a little harsh to say our standards are going down after a sauce bottle not wiped (when busy it can be missed ) and we have a new weekend cook who is getting used to the kitchen.So missing a egg and hash is not really standards going down As for scrambled egg you got me on that one but when you pointed out egg and hash why not the scrambled egg ? We are a friendly lot who would of cooked another for you and not charged.Always better to speak to us we can then rectify Kim

We had takeaway fish and chips and they were brilliant. The fish was succulent and the chips were cooked just right. Usually we are disappointed when we have fish and chips out because the chips are usually very pale or hard. Not here, we will be having a takeaway again next week The place was clean and the staff lovely.

Came here after reading good reviews on trip advisor, we didn't get an overly friendly welcome when we came in but once seated all staff were pleasant, the food varied, some was very good, mine was abit tasteless, all had dessert and we all liked what we got. I wouldn't go again.

Food was excellent. Waiter was very nice, thought we would come back again and again as we were so impressed. Unfortunately on paying the bill, we had our heads bitten off by the young girl behind the bar: we offered her our credit card and were told it was cash only, when we said we hadnât been told this, she was very sharp and told us she hadnât served us and our waiter should have told us: it would have been nice if she had apologised about credit cards not being accepted as it was cash only; there wouldnât have been a problem. We are new residents in Prestatyn and will never go there again.HelloWell, to be honest, I accept what you have said, and I'm sorry your night finished like that . Please rest assured that I have taken steps with the staff working that night to ensure this will never happen again. .I hope you'll return so as to see that I do indeed respond to constructive criticism.. and thanks for the positive comments on the food etc James

We sat in and had 2 regular cod and chips meal and one small for my son. The small cod was actually a really good size. And it came with a drink. Bread and butter and either beans gravy or curry sauce for £5.50. The portions were ample and the batter on cod was so delicious. I would really recommend this place.

Always love the vibe of this cute little bar oozing cheeky charm and great tapas. Fab way to start the weekend early doors with tapas and cocktails, or chill on a Sunday afternoon with a sumptuous Sunday roast. Super friendly staff and owners. Sublime little venue for a mid week steak and sax treat, definitely a little gem on the high street

Rang the 0845 contact number on my mobile. Then prompted to tap 1 for the Cookhouse Prestatyn. Started talking to the manager, mobile cut me off. I then get a text from my mobile provider, "my agreed mobile charge exceeded". I called in for a coffee before going to the excellent library nearby and was so impressed I called in later for lunch and was not disappointed.It was good wholesome food cooked on the premises. The service was faultless. It seemed, justifiably, popular with locals. It is very handy for the retail park, the bus station and the library and there is free Wi Fi. I had the cottage pie with vegetables and a pot of gravy and the quantity was generous. You might have to wait because all the food seems to be cooked to order. It is worth the wait.I will certainly call in the next time I am in Prestatyn.

Called in for some afternoon tea. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We both had a very nice well presented sandwich with a side salad and a large pot of tea for two. We had what we term a proper cup of tea (not weak). Benjamin's has an excellent play centre attached looking forward to bringing our grandchildren.
