We recently stayed in the grosvenor house hotel and visited this restaurant twice it was so good!!Professional friendly waiters who explained each aspect of the menu in detail... Their passion was clearly evident!!We both ate from the half board menu and it was amazing!!!... The chicken was so tender and portion size just right.... We both loved the amuse bouche of white tomato soup immensely.On our second visit we spoke with the manager who again was so enthusiastic and passionate about the restaurant it was a great experience.We can't wait to come back and tha k you for everything! The food in this pub is just excellent. From decent starters and snacks to lovely main courses. With happy-hour offers, decent priced (for Dubai) beer, wine and spirits. Friendly attentive staff. We went first to watch the rugby and eat but went back again during our 5-day stay simply because the food was so good. Pork also on the menu and a rarity in Dubai. Would recommend a visit for a nice meal and a few pints. No kids after 9pm. I recently stayed at Le Royal Meridien hotel where this restaurant is situated. It is the 5th time I have stayed at the hotel, each time I have visited Geales at least once! This is my favourite restaurant in Dubai by some distance. The decor is fantastic. A really clean, friendly and welcoming environment for guests. The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful. A special mention on this occasion for Peter, who couldnât have done more to help me enjoy my experience in the restaurant. Those staying half board in Le Royal Meridien hotel receive a discount with their evening meal. The quality of food here is out of this world. The seafood platter is the best that I have experienced so far. The Geales (Wagu beef) burger is also incredible I was so impressed this year that I chose to eat in Geales three evenings in a row! Attended the Friday evening brunch with my wife. We had wanted something a little relaxed and in the evening so we could have a little together time.We were seated in the section that faces the open kitchen, there is another section that is away from the kitchen. So we got to enjoy watching the hustle and bustle as the staff prepared the food for everybody. We also got to watch as the head chef make sure everything was getting prepared on time and getting out of the kitchen to his level of satisfaction.The food itself was a wonderful selection of different cuisines from around the world, Asian, Indian, British. Each course a wonderful mix of flavours. For me I really enjoyed the salads and the Indian food, but everybody will have different tastes. My only criticism would be the mushy peas served with the British food as they were crushed garden peas so not the true mushy peas you expect with Fish & Chips.And lastly a big shout out to the staff, watching how hard all of them worked to make it a great night well done to all and thanks for a lovely evening.We had a really enjoyable night and would definitely recommend this to anybody, a really great night with a lot, and I mean a lot of food, make sure you pace yourself and leave some room for desert as it's worth it.Dear Jognredd2672,Thank you for taking the time to post a fantastic review regarding your recent visit to The Croft.
