It's been several years since we've visited The West House and the six course tasting menu which we relished yesterday evening has filled us with regret that it has taken us so long to return. Last night Graham Garrett was inspired creating flavour combinations and textures which were mind-blowing and very special indeed and we were still reminiscing about our dinner as we drove home this morning after an overnight stay in one of the restaurant's four comfortable bedrooms.Whilst the food is the star the wine list was pretty interesting too with some well chosen and intriguing bottles. The service is pleasantly casual and attentive but never obtrusive.We just loved our evening and we look forward to going back!

I was invited to a friend's Ruby Wedding celebration lunch held in a marquee at the rear of the premises . Unbelievably we were told we had to pay in advance for our pre chosen food with two alternative dishes . In addition we had to pay for any drinks we wished to consume with our meal . This of course was no fault of the restaurant but the food and drinks were very expensive . The food was served in dishes to the table of about 40 people who were expected to serve themselves - including pulling the meat from a lamb joint by one of the diners who served the table (which I think should have been done by one of tha waitresses ) .. The service was slow and the finished plates and dishes were left on the table without being cleared for about 20 minutes . The dessert portions , although very tasty , were miniscule .There were no condiments on the very large table and no offer of any . The venue itself is very attractive .

The Tiny Teapot is indeed very small, but cosy. We can only confirm the positive experiences of other reviewers and visitors. Very friendly staff and the food and service was excellent. We had a (huge) Afternoon Tea. Sandwiches, scones and cake all freshly homemade. Accompagnied by a (very) large pot of tea. We certainly will come back to enjoy more. So we can only recommend the Tiny Teapot in the beautiful village of Biddenden!

Met Here with friends for the Sunday carvery. Good sized dining room means it was full but not noisy, lots of good conversation going on without disturbing others. Food was well prepared and a good quality and quantity. The four courses were good value for money. If you get the choice have a table by the windows as the views over the golf course are worth it.

visited with my friend and his dog and could not have been a warmer welcome and visit...went to trouble to help with my diabetic needs and was all so reasonably priced. Definitely returning there when I'm near again. Nice garden at back and nice interior too

We often pop into the tea rooms if we are in the area. The staff are so lovely, and very attentive. The food is always so good, itâs always made fresh which just makes it that bit more delicious. Our dog is always welcome, he is always given a friendly hello which he loves and is never without a fresh bowl of water. There is beautiful local artwork on the walls, which is lovely to have a little browse. I would highly recommend a visit, this really is a little village gem! Donât forget to visit the garden at the back, if the weather allows itâs so beautiful.

How nice are the management and staff. Such a change to find a place that is dog friendly and means it. Sat in the garden and had a full breakfast. So much variety at a great price and loved the senior discount. (65) still canât believe it. Plus serving ILLY coffee....the best!! So much more than a pub. Will try an evening meal next time. Four of us had a really delicious supper here last Wednesday . Myself and one friend had the pasta with mushrooms and spinach and my other two friends had the seabream.All freshly made and locally sourced .We sat outside surrounded by beautiful flowers and were looked after by the charming owner and a very nice waitress .I have booked to go back in a couple of weeks .Hello - thank you so much for taking the time to write us such an amazing review! Called in for a drink on a sunny afternoon. We sat outside (so that we could have our dog with us) and, although there were a few bees around, they were not that much of a problem. The service was quick and efficient and, although we were only having a drink, the serving staff were solicitous to an extrteme asking us if we were satisfied with our order. The cakes on display looked delicious and the food being served also looked very tasty and well-presented. Will be back to sample the food.
