If you live near Aviano AB and have never been... this place is NOT WORTH the trip. For that, go to Befeds. The chicken tasted exactly the same to me. However, I had the small burger at Chick-a-boom and it was pretty amazing.. so were the fries. If you go there, I'd definitely recommend the burger and fries. But like I said, if it is out of the way.. you'd be disappointed you made this trip over there. The reviews made it seem like it'd be somewhat worth it.. it's not.

We made a reservation for 12. The restaurant is beautiful. We ordered steaks and fries, hamburger, pizza and pasta. It was all delicious but the steaks were supreme. So delicious!!! The chocolate cake for dessert is amazing. Great service too.Krysta P Thanks for your nice review

If you want meet and you are looking for a hidden champion restaurant - this is the place. Dont expect to much stylish ambient or choice of food (Florentina steak and little at the side - that's it). Also the place is simple Osteria style but its definitely worth going and I will do again for sure.

I could not believe my eyes when I saw the beef hanging inside a large coxldroom with a window. Beef from various countries, all aging before my eyes. So we tried some, and it was delicious. From Poland, this particular cut. Well served, tasty, what a find! Marvelous place in the middle of "no where."

But if you do and you are American, do not spoil it or embarrass yourselves. A true "Mom & Pop" place. No menu, they describe each course. Fed four adults and 1 child (adult plate-steak) with appetizers, pasta, second course, vegetable, dessert, wine for E 130. We were the only English speakers in the place and it was full. Half or less of what I paid for a fine dinner during 2 weeks in Rome, Florence, and Venice. Sea bass for two, duck, tagliatelle w/ porcini mushrooms, tortellini. I would have paid just to people watch. My son has selected it for his going away party site. Lots of rooms, even outdoor play area for children.

It's a simple recipe, but very filling. It has a small play area for children which makes it easy to invite families out for dinner. I think the chicken is better than BeFeds in Aviano and Funky Go is usually less crowded.

One of the benefits of living in Italy for three years are the excellent restaurants. When I left in 2002, the best one was this "one with the swans" as my 6 year old called it. Twelve years later, that restaurant is just as I remember it - elegant, inviting, excellent food and the same perfectly friendly owners I left those many years ago (and the swans are still there.) The menu changes regularly and is based on the freshest options available at the time - this evening I had the gnocchi in duck sauce and each bite reminded me of my regular visits from 1999 to 2002. We kept warm at a table by the fireplace, enjoyed the after dinner desserts and left with the satisfaction of knowing that some perfect places in life remain that same perfect place you remember. Buonissimo!

Family of five got the house recommendation for 5 persons. Lots of different sausages, ribs, chicken, pork, cooked potatoes and carrots. Dessert menu (cake tray) was great also, although I don't know why we thought we needed it after the massive amount of food we downed. Refreshing break from pasta-pasta-pasta. Sweet waitress, great English, very friendly and helpful. More beer volume than expected. Only surprise was the lack of red cabbage, but they did have white.

We went here for a family dinner. We came early and the place was pretty empty. We all ordered the chicken and was not disappointed. The was the best roast chicken we have had in a very long time. We discovered this place only recently, even though it's quite near where I live, while looking for gluten-free eateries. The pub is nice, with a charming dimmed light ambience.There is a good selection of tap beers, also including an house brew. The burgers range from awesome to incredible, for Italian standards. All of them are quite big (still having a reasonable price): the one with hickory smoked pork is just delicious. Many burgers can also be served gluten free, which is great as they are difficult to find elsewhere in the area (excellent Aviano Inn is a notable exception). Chips are above the standard as well.Service was a bit slow when I went there, but it might just have been some bad luck... nothing really serious, anyway.Dogs are welcome, even though beware that it might be difficult to be allowed in with a big one if the tables at the end of the room are already occupied.thanks for the nice words, too kind! I apologize for the slow service, unfortunately sometimes happens, but we will try to improve.
