Travelled in July 2015, with my 3 children, husband and in-laws. My in-laws had been before, and know the couple that owns this restaurant. We had an absolutely outstanding meal here!! Course, after course, after course - and all of it was amazing! the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was just what I hoped it would be, authentic, local Italian. Grazie!!

Di passaggio a Basciano per qualche giorno, io e la mia ragazza proviamo questo ristorante nella piazzetta del piccolo borgo di Basciano, dietro consiglio dei gestori del nostro B&B, desiderosi di provare i veri arrosticini abruzzesi. Siamo rimasti talmente soddisfatti che siamo tornati due giorni dopo! Gli arrosticini erano davvero superlativi, ma anche il resto non è da meno (imperdibili il formaggio fritto e le frittelle col prosciutto crudo). Splendida accoglienza da parte dei gestori del locale, disponibili per ogni esigenza. Seguite i consigli di Valerio e andrete sul sicuro! Rapporto qualità /prezzo davvero eccellente, in media poco più di 20 ⬠a persona per una cena più che abbondante e soddisfacente.

We first visited l'alberone about 5 years ago, but hadn't returned as it hadn't left a lasting impression. However, it has, we think, since changed hands and we returned, as our dining companions had a long lost family connection with the owners. It was mid week on a perfect summers evening in August and the place was full. Al fresco dining in beautiful grounds and being serenaded by the owner added to a really super atmosphere (although he needed to turn the volume of the music down a bit!)This is not a restaurant as such, but one of those typical places where they have a set of delicious local specialities.... a variety of salumi & cheeses (all made on the premises which we saw for ourselves in the cantina), the best fried cheese we've ever had in Abruzzo, mazzarelle (you'll need to like liver, but it's delicious), frittelle cooked to perfection and hot directly from the fryer topped with prosciutto, grilled vegetables from their garden, followed by delicious arrosticini and dessert.With1 litre of house red, (which was good and served at ambient temperature, as often it can be served chilled!), water, coffee and home made liqueurs, the total bill was under â¬100Very good quality, great service and in a lovely location.We will be gong again soon,

A very nice atmosphere with an excellent service and a divine food, the selection of starters is nice with a large varieties, the mains and the pizza are unbelievably good and dessert are spot on. Thanks to Gianluca ( the owner ) for the amazing dinner I truly recommend to all the locals and the visitors to spend a quality dinner or lunch in Totò restaurant
