Picasso is a medium size restaurant in the heart of the Coronado gated community accessible to the public. The restaurant is under the ownership of a french couple originally from Paris. They bring with us the successful experience of many years in the business along with excellent taste and an open mind to the international community. Therefore, one can eat delicious fresh sushis made to order, pizzas cooked to perfection (the calzone my favorite is a YES!), hamburgers, home signature salads and more. A visit to Picasso is a must when in the area. And I forgot, the evenings can be busy with concerts, karaoke, open mic and else.

Really enjoyed our meal here. The owner stopped by with recommendations. He even said they could do different preparations. Two of us chose the Corvina with wine and garlic. It was delicious. Also one person had the creole shrimp. Also delicious. Several people had another shrimp dish.several of us had the coconut rice, yum! That too was prepared nicely and was very good. We were two full for desert but when the owner told us about their flan cheesecake we bought 3 to go take with us.

The Tiki Bar is on the beach in front of the Bahia Tower condos in Nueva Gorgona. The co-owner, Cat, whom I met is quite the rah, rah entertainer. She really works to liven up the evening. Drink and food prices are reasonable. I had the Barbecue Beef sandwich and it was excellent. If you want a fun casual lunch or evening, go to the Tiki Bar.

The food was excellent and the service very good. They were decorated for Christmas so that was a nice touch. We both liked our burgers and would certainly have another one. There was only one odd thing. There was a guy sitting nearby working on his laptop. We assumed he was the owner or manager. We were about the only people in the SandBar at the time and although I wasn't staring, every time I glanced over at him he kind of glared at me...lol. Just seemed odd.

This is a great place to enjoy fine dining with friends, overlooking the ocean and listening to good music. The food is outstanding, the service excellent and so are the drinks.
