I recently visited My Lahore Leeds with my sisters who have visited different branches of the franchise. I was immediately impressed with the decor and layout of the restaurant. It was both bright and stylish very appealing to the eye.We ordered starters, mains and kids meals and they were all delicious which was a pleasant surprise as the menu is vast and this always makes me dubious about the food quality. Th portion sizes were very generous and we all ended up taking food home with us. The wait time wasnât long and our waiter was very attentive.I would definitely revisit the restaurant with friends and family again as I was very impressed. Me and my boyfriend came here for the first time the other night and were very impressed with the range of vegetarian options on the menu and the very affordable early bird menu, the vegetable green Thai was gorgeous and the tofu cooked perfectly. Pad Thai was amazing and the best weâve tasted. Service was also very friendly and quick! Will definitely be returning soon

This was the Indian food I had been expecting when I first moved here from Glasgow 20 years ago but had so far failed to find. Fresh, wholesome, tasty. The menu was really varied. Unusual in that not everything was drowned in a sauce of some description. The service was great, the selection of beers and non alcoholic drinks really good- I recommend the ginger and apple soda. I donât know what took me so long to discover this little gem, but I am mighty glad I did. My new go to place in Leeds.

The Catâs Pyjamas (only recently did I learn what it really means..) is, appropriately, a very special Indian restaurant. The place is simple and colourful, and what surprises you immediately is that the staff are not Indian. The food, however, is simply delicious (real ingredients, proper cooking, etc), the service kind and prompt and informal, and the bill very reasonable. Worth going back, definitely!Thankyou Lucio... nice review.All chefs in kitchen are Indians tho.. as are some of the FoH staff. But easy to miss that. Hope to see you again soon

We booked in advance having read all the great reviews, we normally frequent Sukhothai across thd road. Celebrating our 28th wedding Aniversary with our family, 6 in total. We arrived on time and were seen to our table, drinks orders placed and menus ready. We ordered the set menu D. Whilst waiting you have no choice but to hear everything going on at tables next to you, about an 8 inch gap either end of the table, so no private conversations... Our food arrived, starters was very good all around, main courses all very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food. We asked for the bill which had a 10% service charge on it. The menus said service charge for 8 or more people, this was corrected by cutting the bottom off the bill. It was good to try a different restaurant. The food is good but it is very tight, hot and quite noisy. Not sure if we'll return in the future.....PhilsFamilyView Thanks for your review. We apologies for adding the 10% service charge to your bill. Which We quickly corrected it as soon as you mentioned it. Sorry you wonât be coming back because of our 8 inch gap between the tables!....... Iâve never measured! But I guess size is important ! Booked in for 10.30pm Friday night. Tom looked after us amazingly, what a great host. We asked him for recommendations and he brought us the best Indian food Iâve had. It was not your typical Indian food. Great food. Great service and price! I would thoroughly recommend it!Hi David, thank you so much for such a fantastic review. This small restaurant, with some tables upstairs, just off the Headingley Road, does not have a licence but is happy for you to bring your own bottle. The admirably short menu is based round their award winning dish so everyone gets the same base with rice, nuts, hard boiled egg etc then a dish of whichever curry you choose, some hotter than others. Six of us ranging from student to grandparents all enjoyed our meals. The starters were good too. Main courses all under £9 which makes for a very good value meal. Staff helpful and cheerful. Best to book if you want to go on a Saturday evening as we did as I doubt if it has more than 7 or 8 tables in total. Highly reccommended.Thank you for your fantastic review. We are glad you have enjoyed your dinner with us and appreciated our pricing. We always put every effort to make your visit special make sure we make you feel like home.
