Reviews on Argentinean food in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico. Morelia (Spanish pronunciation: [moˈɾelja]; from 1545 to 1828 known as Valladolid) is a city and municipality in the north central part of the state of Michoacán in central Mexico. The city is in the Guayangareo Valley and is the capital and largest city of the state. The main pre-Hispanic cultures here were the Purépecha and the Matlatzinca, but no major cities were founded in the valley during this time. The Spanish took control of the area in the 1520s. The Spanish under Viceroy Antonio de Mendoza founded a settlement here in 1541 with the name of Valladolid, which became rival to the nearby city of Pátzcuaro for dominance in Michoacán. In 1580, this rivalry ended in Valladolid’s favor and it became the capital of the colonial province. After the Mexican War of Independence, the city was renamed Morelia in honor of José María Morelos, who hailed from the city. In 1991, the city was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its well-preserved colonial buildings and layout of the historic center.

Not spectacular but still a nice grill on the south of the city. El Parrillon is a good place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary with intimacy. The grill is good, the Argentinian empanadas were worth and the restaurant has a good offer of Mexican & South American table wines. From winter to spring, the place is a good view of the city.Muchas gracias Alfredo agradecemos tu opinión ya que esta es muy importante para nosotros. trabajaremos para que en tu próxima visita encuentres mas cambios y mas platillos.Esperamos verte muy pronto en esta tu casa

My wife and I ate here mid-day. Twice. They don't seem to open until around 2, 2:30, but they're worth the wait. Service is efficient and friendly (this is a family run restaurant, our favorite kind, and shows pride of ownership!). The steak was delicious, prepared just the way we asked and very tender. Price is quite reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended.Sus comentarios nos hacen ver que seguimos en el camino correcto de lo que queremos ofrecerles a nuestros distinguidos clientes, muchas gracias.

When you're paying for service in any establishment that offers cuisine and drinks, you're also paying for everything else. This is the deal with this place: although the food and adornment are fine, the price they charge you is aerial for what they offer. Genuinely small portions, non capacitated and rude waiters, dusted and sweltering terrace. I read some of the opinions and it hit to my head if some of this weren't given for "friends" of the owners... They have good food, but nothing you can't get somewhere else, if you don't have patience or like good-great service, this place is no for you.

This is a place with a good location in downtown Morelia. It shares a big, old (but well maintained), colonial building with Pachamama Chocolatería (which has great cocoa and sweet bread, sooo good) and other bar (that also looks cool). When you go eat to this place, you can order from all the 3 establishments. The menu is quite good, offering pastas (try the seafood spaghetti), pizzas, salads (the one I has with strawberries was excellent) and other good stuff. The bar has a beer promo during the afternoon, which is great for the hot spring days. I do recommend it!
