In one of the most beautiful areas of Sardinia, the pearl of the Mediterranean unique in its colors and perfumes, among the rolling valleys of the mountains, in the lovely and verdant Gallura famous for its warm crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches, under the gaze of Mount limbara we find the Agriturismo "Il Vermentino." Nestled in a pristine location, away from the chaos of the city and surrounded by farms and vineyards is added to a reality in which the famous perfume Sardinians are still vivi.Respirando this atmosphere it is easy to feel totally transported to the ancient world that few areas in the world are able to keep.
What a hospitality disappointment
Reviewed By Christer_KitchenChefIt was supposed to be a happy stay at the Agriturismo il Vermentino at Cantina Tani- what followed, however, was a real disappointment. We arrived and was met by an older gentleman that didn't speak any English and had no knowledge of our room reservation, gave us no information what so ever, except what time dinner was served. The dinner was good with a portion of ravioli as primi, roasted pig with tomatoes as secondi and finally a dolci. During the dinner, we met the manager for the first time and asked if she could arrange for a wine tasting during our stay. After a lot of excuses, we finally got an appointment the day after. It was here, during this conversation, we started to feel the lack of hospitality and that we only caused a problem. The breakfast was miserable. We were offered tea, coffee, sweet yoghurt, 3 small pieces of cheese, salami and ham together with croissant wrapped in plastic. No egg, fruit or fresh bread. Given all the fantastic local products, this could and should be so much better, as they are running a restaurant. After the first night we considered to reduce the stay from four to three nights, but after the pitiable breakfast, we decided to cut it to two nights as we looked forward to the wine tasting the following afternoon. We informed the management about our change of plan. Now we were accused of being unpleasant, and she would no longer offer any wine tasting for us. After several minutes of blaming us and how impolite and impatient we were, she offered us to check-out immediately which we did. Cantina Tani is a winery with an agriturismo, and you would expect that wine tastings, wine bar and generosity are a part of this. With a total absence of hospitality, they didn't care much for us. There are several words I can drum up to describe the treatment we received, but let me limit it to one: Arrogance. [Epilogue] After an hour drive, we found a lovely B&B with a lot of hospitality and generosity, and the breakfast was fantastic. Life is too short to sleep in poor places :-)

Chicchiritanos is a tourist farm house located in Monti, surrounded by a beautiful forest of Oaks. We are shepherds for generations and we live in the beautiful green hills of Piredu in contact with nature and with the animals we raise (sheeps, cows, chickens). Our rooms are new, built in the typical structure called 'Stazzo Gallurese', they're located inside the farm, that stretches for 90 hectares. Chicchiritanos has 6 comfortable rooms with private entrance, bathroom, refrigerator, hairdryer, access and toilet for disabled. From generation to generation we produce cheese, ricotta cheese, meats and desserts that you can taste in our structure, even at breakfast. Chicchiritanos is the ideal place to spend your vacation in contact with nature, discoverng the real Sardinia, in an atmosphere of total relaxation, where tranquility and hospitality are assured.

Reviewed By ThistlemoonIf you are visiting the Olbia area, this is a place you must visit. We had a fantastic lunch with friends. It was 32€ per person for all you can eat a drink. We counted 18 plates of food, plus aperitivo and all the wine you can drink, plus coffee and three after meal digestifs to choose from including homemade mirto, acqua vitae and agrumello. Not only is the food of the highest quality, but the service is excellent and the staff incredibly friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to go again. It’s recommended to skip breakfast before going to lunch, and not to have dinner plans, as you probably won’t be hungry !!!

Amazing place and amazing people!
Reviewed By Kateryna SWe were staying at this b&b agroturism in October and we were amazed by hospitality of the owners, by beauty of the nature around, by deliciousness and quality of food, by comfort of the rooms and by every single little detail that we're made with love and care. And of course, their wines are just fantastic!!! Highly recommend this place and we will return for sure!!!

Patrizia e Giovanni due persone stupende che dedicano parte della loro vita a curare quei dettagli che poi fanno stare bene i propri clienti: dai prodotti freschi, genuini e preparati in casa per la colazione, alla pulizia delle camere, del bagno e del giardino. Quello che maggiormente ci ha colpiti è stata l'immensa disponibilità nel dispensare suggerimenti e consigli ed il grande cuore di entrambi. Consiglio a tutti di soggiornare nel loro splendido BeB oltre per i servizi che offre, phon, aria condizionata, frigo, un'intera area comune attrezzata con forno a microonde, macchina per caffè, messa a disposizione tutto il giorno per gli ospiti affinché possano trascorrere del tempo o semplicemente bere un caffè, prepararsi qualcosa da mangiare, anche per la vicinanza alla principale arteria stradale che permette di raggiungere l' Aeroporto, il Porto, il mare ed i luoghi di maggiore interesse della Costa Smeralda in pochissimo tempo. La tranquillità del posto fa si che, anche se si rientra tardi la sera, ci si svegli freschi e riposati. Davvero qui abbiamo lasciato un pezzo di cuore.
