Reviewed By Arnaldo RIt might be a little difficult to drive to Pousada Altos de Monte Verde, specially if it`s raining, due to the dirt roads uphill, however the breakfast is above average, the views (with an waterfall in the property) are great but the best is the wildlife, with squirrels right outside your window.

Perfect little get away spot
Reviewed By gregandcathWe were looking for somewhere to stay while exploring the area around Monte Verde, we picked this place because its relatively cheap compared to other accommodation in Monte Verde and it turned out great. The chalets are about 2 km from the centre of town, not much of a walk as its all dirt roads, but a quick drive. The rooms are great, clean, tidy and in good repair, a little old fashioned in the decor, but generally good. Our room had a mini bar fridge, TV and a bathroom with a great shower, it also had a lovely balconey and a great open fire with lots of firewood. Breakfast was really good, a big buffet with lots of choices for food. Monte Verde itself is good fun, its a touristy town, but there is lots to do, and the setting is lovely, great bush walks all around the town.
