The Hotel "NUOVO ALBERGO OPERAI" is a historic building, completely renovated in modern style, few kilometers from the A4 motorway, 7 minutes from the TRIESTE airport in Ronchi dei Legionari (5 km) and from Monfalcone train station located near the town center, ideal for shopping. All rooms at the NAO have flocked PVC floors, antiallergic and anti-static, soundproof windows with blackout curtains. The massive building has three levels and has forty-five rooms reachable by means of a state-of-the-art elevators.

Reviewed By AmitChanda29Stayed here for 3 nights and property is huge. It really gets confusing when you walk through the corridors though rooms are very clean and nicely maintained. Service is alright, I dont understand why do they need guests to drop the keys when going out everyday, that's really uncomfortable to see them again n again whenever you move out of the room. They dont have a restaurant so need to bit walk for food, otherwise hotel is good. Since they dont allow you to keep an extra card, you cant keep the room AC on when you move out and the AC takes a while to cool the room so that's a pity.

Reviewed By Jessica534This hotel deserves 5 stars for the reasonable price for what you receive. The decor is stark modern and efficient. The rooms are very clean with daily excellent maid service. The breakfast room surrounded by windows overlooking the town is a pleasant surprise. There is free parking on the side street. The Galleon restaurant next door is excellent and reasonable. The desk staff are pleasant and helpful. There is a seating in the lobby with good bar service. We could easily find the place which is important to us. There are different room sizes with small frig but no coffee maker. You can control the AC in your room. For the price we paid it’s a good deal.

Reviewed By Julian RWe travelled as a family of 14 to visit family in Monfalcone so the location of the hotel was perfect . The rooms were good as was breakfast and the swimming pool was a joy in the summer heat. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although Monfalcone is a working town and not a tourist spot it’s a very good location to visit the wonderful coastline nearby.

Like a very small boutique hotel
Reviewed By tvmovielover50We stayed only in B & Bs during our 3 week trip to North Italy this month. All had friendly hosts and decent rooms but this 3 room B & B was more like a boutique hotel in comparison both in decor, services, and hosts. Each room was beautifully decorated with a matching table in the breakfast room for your room only. There was a double charging station by the bed that needed only your cord. The bathroom had soap, shampoo and plenty of towels and was also nicely done. Wifi was excellent (big tv but we do not watch on vacation). Silvio and Tina were fabulous hosts. Silvio does not speak perfect English but carries a pocket voice translator with several languages stored on it for good communication. With the welcoming drink and snack, he suggests things to see and places to eat. The first night, he jumped on his motorcycle and led us to a second floor bay side fish restaurant that was great as was his advice to not order too much (huge portions) and drink the house wine-he was right though all around us people ordered everything! We would absolutely stay here again and recommend this "hotel B & B" to anyone. Prices are fair for all that you get and how clean and up to date it is.

We forgot a jacket in the wardrobe and realized it after 4 hours of trip back to Poland. But after we called to the hotel and explained the situation, they send it to us via post - this helped us so much... To sum up, we can strongly recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Wonderful stay
Reviewed By Adventure-gma1255Our hostess Laura was so helpful our stay in Monfalcone would have been less pleasant had we not had the good fortune to select B&B Ormeggio. She transported us from the airport, made a delicious apple strudel for breakfast, gave us recommendations for restaurants and directed us to Grado for a day trip. Reasonable rates, easy walk to the city center and a charming place to stay.
