The rooms and halls are impregnated with cigarette smoke even though is supposed to be smoke free... Is an economy hotel which is fine and I am used to it, but with poor maintenance and bad customer service. There are better options in town, try to avoid...

Good hotel, reasonable price
Reviewed By jorge mI stayed one night at this hotel, I thought that its location is quite good, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the service is ok. On the plus side, I did not expect they would have a pool, they do. Not big, but is ok On the down side, the ac is not very good. The AC are the ones that have some locks on modification, you are able to move temp up to a level, but other than that is already set. Which, for a place with extreme temperatures might be a problem for some. But overall is a nice hotel for business stays and maybe family if you are flexible...

Maybe the nicest hotel in Monclova
Reviewed By sean420We stayed here one night on our way from San Miguel de Allende and before crossing the border at Eagle Pass Our room was pretty basic but comfortable enough. There was some noise from the highway but it wasn't too bad. There is covered parking right outside the lobby and plenty of spaces in the adjacent parking lot . The hotel restaurant was decent. Service was impeccable and the food and drinks were pretty good and reasonably priced I'd definitely stay here again

Hot and dirty!!!
Reviewed By MyriamFKTo start off, it was so hot, the room ac was off, so they said give it 5 minutes and it will cool. But cane 5 hours later and we were still sweating, they wouldn't give us our $ back. The pool was green and smelly and close, but when we called they said it was open and running! The rooms look like an old do it yourself back room. And hairs everywhere, on side of walls in restroom floors and the shower mat was hanging on shower door like if its clean, but it was all full of mold like you could catch something if you stepped on it. Trying to save 10 dollars is so not worth it!!!!!!!

Loud patio between all rooms

It appears to be peaceful until you realize that all of the other guests hang out in the patio chairs and tables placed in the "courtyard" area in between the rooms. It's a great idea, but the functionality is horrible because all of the rooms get to hear the loud laughter and talking of the other guests. The hotel should either relocate the patio chairs or better seal doors that face the "courtyard". It was very unpleasant. The room was also a bit stuffy since you can't open the window, only the door or alternatively use the mini-split A/C unit. The staff were helpful but I had to call multiple times to get my fiscal receipt emailed to me. Finally, breakfast wasn't so bad, but it would be great if they could avoid the use of styrofoam plates -- wouldn't it be cheaper in the long run to have reusable plates and cups?
