I was recommended to go here so booked it for my birthday celebration with 10 of my family. To say I was disappointed is an understatement! None of the food was homemade - the steaks all tough, my crab cakes were totally tasteless and the puddings were a complete joke! No sticky toffee on the pudding and when asked was told they had run out!!!! One of the puddings had been microwaved so long the middle was a solid burnt mess!My churros were inedible - not cooked enough and disgusting taste - again frozen! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!!Hi Road19226238536, I am very surprised by this review, you visited us on Saturday when we were fully booked, we had good comments from your table and no complaints throughout your meal. A member of your party gave 1 âsuggestionâ rather than a complaint at the end of your meal, after you had completely cleared your plates that the churroâs could have done with being cooked a little longer, and to mention it to the chef, there was no mentioned about the other food at all. Your table all left happy, and you left a generous tip for the staff on the night too. Had you of mentioned these issues to us on the night we would have rectified any complaints and replaced anything you wasnât happy with. Have visited here many times over the years with varying success. The whole place is comfortable and quaint with a delightful bar area, beware of the beams if you are a tall person, like me, ouch!!!Dining has been a bit hit and miss mostly due to lack of staff. My visit last week though was excellent, the food was good and the staff were attentive and friendly. Will visit again soon.Widlydidly, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and it is great to see you had such a positive experience at The Black Horse.

Summer Soltice means wedding anniversary. So needed good food welcoming atmosphere and music to dance too. Well we got all of this at Tre Fratelli last night. Simone was there to welcome us and the whole evening went just as we wanted. We actually took 4 friends who had a great time. Sofia Soul was excellent. Staff were attentive which added to the experience. Well done again for making our celebration a memorable experience.

Lovely decor lovely staff especially Gem the waitress but food disappointing all round ..... could do better ...... sea bass over cooked, gammon poor, run out of burgers, cold crumble, frozen fruit in pudding ...... really sorry but wont be back in a hurryUnfortunately this seems to have been posted to the wrong location, we do not have a waitress called Gem, nor do we serve frozen foods, gammon or sea bass.Kind regardsHannah

Our menu is certainly not all about fried foods. We have some dishes that are fried but that is because they wouldn't taste as nice if cooked in the oven. And surely good flavour and textures are what our customers are looking for. There is no sin in frying some dishes and we have never had anyone complain that there are too many fried foods on our menu so your comments are strange and overly unkind. And "chips, chips,chips ??? You only have chips if you want them. There are many other alternatives to choose from on our menu. Did you read our menu ? You can have a delicious creamed mash potato, cous cous or even coconut rice as your carb of choice or why not try a salad ? We have many healthy options on offer including our extensive vegan menu.Our chefs have been working on our new winter menu which is coming out this Friday ( 27th September ) which will have delicious healthy dishes for everyone. Some fried, some roasted, some grilled. What a pity you'll miss it.
