All the staff were super friendly, the services they provide within the price are amazing and the overall vibe of the place is really welcoming. I met so many people when I was there and made a lot of memories, I look forward to visiting them again when I can! :)

Superb

Nohing really bad to say, if you need something, they will usually help. The rooms were clean, I had no issues with anyone in my room. Don't expect the food to be fantastic, but I don't really are for it. I was still able to get full and I prefer paying what I pay for a hostel than some hotel that charges triple for a room.

Babila Hostel

The new Babila Hostel & Bistrot Milano was inaugurated on the 15th of September 2017. The elegant and sophisticated building is located in the heart of the Milan fashion quarter, just a short walk from Piazza San Babila. Babila Hostel is a result of a deep restructuring of the west wing of the Victory Column Institute, founded in 1896 by the then Cardinal of Milan, Andrea Carlo Ferrari, who has decided to open a Catholic school in the city. It fits in the tradition of the most modern European Hostel: smart solution for backpackers and dynamic travellers, measured on the needs of both young travellers and families (solutions with 4 beds) or traditional travellers (with private rooms). Beside the accomodation, the Babila Hostel welcomes everybody to concerts, programs and cultural happenings in the Bistrot area and offers a delicious variety of food wines and cocktails! Good budget option

Reviewed By SwissSin-Travellers

I stayed for 2 nights in a private room (nr. 34) on the top floor. + nice view + breezy, easy to sleep with open windows + spacious, comes with towels and breakfast - WiFi is terrible!!! Best connection is right next to the entrance door or in the bathroom. - Room could have been cleaner. Floor was not properly swiped, very dusty. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was a disgrace. I would stay there again. Good option of you travel on a budget.

Very nice and cosy hotel

Reviewed By Z4231RTemanuelc

Very nice and cosy hotel. Located near from everything and just a few minutes from the city center. His design is super fresh and modern. The vibe is just amazing. I was there with some friends on a city break and they were very cool giving us a room only to the specific number of people we were. Also, the idea was to visit the city, and we did, but my biggest wishes were to stay there, chilling in peace. Definitely to come back!

Fantastic Place to Stay in Milan

Reviewed By lizzlesizzle

I was in Milan for a few days before a business trip and had the pleasure of staying at Madama. Féro and Alessandro were incredibly helpful with all of my questions and gave me great recommendations of things that I should see around the city. The breakfast every morning was simple but just what I needed and the dinner was always tasty. I met a lot of interesting people at the bistro while I was there as well. The shared room was very comfortable and it had plenty of storage and outlets. I was able to use the luggage storage on my last day so I still got to wander around the city for a few hours even after check out. Great neighborhood. Great people. I can't wait to come back to Italy and stay again.

Great hostel, good vibes

Reviewed By LoisJemmett

Had a great stay at this hostel! A little way from central station but easy to access with metro and a 5 minute walk. Walking distance to the main attractions in about 20 minutes, right by a tram line aswell. Hostel itself was super clean, we arrived at midnight and check in was quick and smooth. Beds were comfortable with sockets for each bed and lockers in room. The corridors are quite loud at night with people coming and going. Good atmosphere all around, bar staff all very friendly, games provided at the bar aswell! Breakfast provided in the morning was fresh orange juice and toasties. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Worst Hostel in Milan

Reviewed By Safari16602778807

If I could give this hotel a -1 out of 10… I would. This was the worst experience me and my best friend have ever been through. First and most important: The photos they use for advertisement are completely false. Do not trust them. The “hostel” (if you can call it that way) is located in a not so nice neighborhood (wouldn’t recommend arriving at night). When you arrive, don’t panic, the front desk is not as bad as the rooms, so don’t start panicking like we did. Save it for later. Rooms? Yeah, small, old, our was dirty and we had to spend the entire evening enjoying the sweet smell of stinky feet (because the room only had a small window from which the air doesn’t come in, so the smell did not come out either). We know the smell is not the hostel’s fault, but just be careful if you are choosing one of the shared rooms because you never know if you will enjoy the company from other people (one of our roomies, for example, was drunk, arrived at 5am and got naked in front of my friend and me before going to sleep) The air conditioning was not working and the beds are particularly small. When we went to the bathroom to brush our teeth and we ran into a full-of-puke sink… yeah, nice. We wanted to check the showers before going to sleep so we could have an idea of what to expect in the morning… basically we’re walking down the streets of Milan without showering. There was no way for us to get in those dirty showers Thank goodness we just had to spend 6 hours in that place. This “hostel” needs to be shut down.

For one night is ok

Reviewed By Svetlana2579

I stayed in 6 beds room for women. There is s kitchen with everything you need for cooking. There are enough bathrooms. Its about 20 minutes on foot to the station. There were not blankets in the room and it was rather cold. The doors of the room are made of glass and it's difficult to sleep with the light in corridor. I recommend the hostel maximum for 1 night.
