Beautiful Cabañas

Reviewed By ellaieu

Me and my Family visited Mazamitla the first week of 2020 and where super happy with our cabaña stay in Monteverde, the cabin is just beautiful , we got one of the biggest cabins available 2 floor one, and it was great . the only comment i can add to this is for the cost of stay I believe the resort needs some updating, and maintenance in their amenities. The volley ball court is outdated and needa maintenance, the intephone system needs maintenance, and kids play area as well. We had an amaizing experience, just a few things that would had made this a prefect stay.

Cancellation With NO Refund

Be careful with this hotel / cabin rental. Terrible customer service by Juan Garcia and his team. We rented a cabin for the weekend which we later had to cancel due to issues with our flight. We canceled the cabin per the cancelation policy guidelines but we never received a refund. It is now a month later and we still haven't gotten our money back. Every effort to get the matter resolved has been useless. We tried escalating our issue but Juan Garcia and his team will not provide us with further contact information. Neither to a manager nor to someone higher up. The cancellation guidelines also have a “No Show” policy which in the event of a no show would result in a one night charge. In our case they didn't honor that either. They kept ALL of our money.

Nice hotel, but cold in the winter season - NO heat source

Reviewed By ByLandAndSeaExplorer

This is a small hotel very close to the main plaza. The rooms are clean and from the balcony one has a good view over the city. The hot water was ample and very hot. However, the room is cold, as there is no heat source anywhere in the hotel. And in the bathroom the window has open wooden slats for ventilation that cannot be closed. The covers are a bit thin, but the bed was very comfortable. Light sleepers might hear the church bells, as they also ring at least every hour all night long. So bring ear plugs and it won't be an issue. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to assist.

Hotel Huerta Real

Charming small luxury hotel that offers guests the opportunity to experience a stay full of tranquility, warmth, in harmony with nature and the exquisite cuisine of the region. It is a place where nature, the color of the Mexican, the smell of wet earth and the garden, the magic of a "Magic Town" and proximity to the forest, come together in a paradise of sensations.

Really Nice

Reviewed By PvrFederico

Every once in a while I stay at a hotel that gets just about everything right. This is one of them. The room set up, the cleanliness, the grounds, the location and the staff. Everything was close to perfect. There's very secure parking on the grounds, but if your without car, it's a pretty good hike to the Plaza, especially the uphill return. The only negative was that the free breakfast is in Centro, not at the hotel. I would certainly stay here again.

Is not good option

Definitely is the worst hotel for the money they charge. Almost $200.00 USD by night And the hotel is like 2 stars. No heather, old and frayed towels. Smell fresh paint to strong. No hands towels. Is is not the best option. The location is good only 2 blocks of the center. The room was in the second floor, for old people is no easy to upstairs with luggage, and is not help, only. Y yourself

Modest, clean cabins

Reviewed By PvrFederico

I stayed here two nights, and the hotel was nice. It's actually a series of cabins, with a very nice restaurant in the complex (Quinta del Bosque). With the exception of a young lady with an attitude working in reception, everything was fine. My room was clean; I loved the hard bed; and the heavy bed covers kept me warm through the cold nights. There was plenty of hot water, and there was secure parking on the property. My first night the WiFi in my room didn't work, and the lady with the attitude said that she'd fix it, but did nothing. The second night there was a nicer person at reception, and she quickly adjusted the antennae, and I had a decent signal after that.

Reviewed By sathemu

Not very comfortable

Reviewed By marcelameza2020

Lots of mosquitos, stove/oven not working properly. Stair loose, outside the building with loose handrail and missing first step, pretty dangerous. Hot water from shower sometimes works, sometimes you take a shower with cold water, even weather is cold in the mountain.
