"Villa I Sette Borghi" is a small group of houses to which Mr. Giorgio Natali has devoted a great part of his life, personally supervising its renovation and maintenance, wisely enhancing the Tuscan rural tradition and its natural convivial nature. The large yard in front of the main building joins together the other apartments, thus becoming a small square that is at the centre of the whole, giving it a sense of an ancient village. The swimming-pool has also been wisely introduced into the ambiance and seems to be floating in the skies of Buggiano, Colle, Massa, Cozzile, Montecatini, Monsummano, Montevettolini. You never finish being astonished by the enchanting panorama. The rooms of the “I Sette Borghi” villa are all decorated in the typical Tuscan style –Warm and stylish at the same time – cotto floors, beamed ceilings, super comfortable beds, furnishing and fabrics in the best Italian tradition. Comfort and relaxation are the guidelines of our hospitality and can be perceived through the attention to every little detail. The pursuit of excellence in the classical Tuscan soberness is our goal.
We stayed there for few nights but it is enough to say it's a very welcoming and calm place. It has a decent swimming pool. Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinners. Owner is really kind and very helpful:-)

If there is a single word more alluring then Italy, then it must be its own heart and soul . . . . Tuscany. In the rolling Tuscan hills, not far from the ancient cities of Florence, Pisa and Lucca, nestled amongst terracced olive groves, fruit orchards, vineyards and woods lies Villa Cecchini. A boutique self catering villa rental, part of Boutique Farmhouses, where you can put a little distance between yourself and the rest of the world. The villa, a splendid 18th century stone farmhouse, has recently been totally restored by world traveller and hospitality executive Dario Cecchini while maintaining its charme and character. In spite of the old fashioned, luxurious atmosphere, it offers all the modern amenities to satisfy the most exigent needs: panoramic swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, satellite HDTV, WiFi connection, outdoor music systems and many more. The whole of Tuscany is in your doorstep, and renting Villa Cecchini is an authentic and intimate experience that no hotel can offer. After relaxing with a glass of wine on the brick patio or by the pool bar, gazing out at medieval castles, you will understand immediately that: "Villa Cecchini is not a place - It's a way of life"
OMG! Imagine eating breakfast with a view over a stunning valley, dinner looking out over the same valley lit up by the moon and the street lights a couple of hundred meters below. The location was just fantastic half way up Via Croci, and believe me, the name is a description af the actual road. Narrow turns and roads, you better pray no other car will turn up around the corner :) The villa itself was fantastic!! With a beautiful little patio where you could eat. The pool was a great with a nice little area for sunbathing (including a small fridge)! Beautiful nature that could be enjoyed by the many walking tracks. Sure, it was very bad mobile reception, but who wants to talk in the phone when you’re there? Enjoy they time off and enjoy leaving the phone in the bedroom whilst indulging the view and the area. A few things could be improved though, the villa really needs a AC in the summer... it is sooooo hot! And the wi-fi in the first part is not good at all, sometimes you didn’t even get to the site where you should enter the password. We also had some ”issues” with the collection of garbage, namely animals... bigger or more sturdy containers might be needed. With these smalls things fixed I’d give this place a 5+ review, now it’s only a 5 :) I was not the one in direct contact with the owner, but as I understood he responded very quickly and was extremly helpful. We texted him about some issues with the pool and the pool guy got there to fix it within an hour. If ever in Tuscany - this rural pearl is a must!

We zitten nog midden in ons verblijf, maar kunnen nu al zeggen dat het een fantastische locatie is. Mooi uitzicht vanaf je eigen terras. Super schoon, fijn zwembad, airco in de slaap en woonkamer… heerlijk!
