Cleaning staff are insolent, overpriced
Reviewed By BelgiornoThe location is great, and there's an upstairs terrace... but that's where it ends.. The staff seem unable to manage. My room had various things not working that were never resolved. 2 broken lamps, no water pressure the shower not cleaned. (in times of covid) the toilet brush was disgusting and about 10 years old. I asked for a replacement and they brought me one in exactly the same condition. Beds uncomfortable. No WiFi in the rooms The outside area of the rooms wasn't swept or cleaned between guests and cigarette butt's Everywhere. Breakfast. No fresh fruit. Just packaged cakes I had lunch in the restaurant Alta marina a very small palte of overcooked scrimp was the seafood plate. Overpriced. The waiters were new and nice just brought in from Calabria. But really the place is just badly run.

nice place to stay!
Reviewed By viaggiatrice21Nice place to stay, near the beach, nice rooms, very friendly people, the hotel is refurbished, good food and good wine. A good and well-cured breakfast in the morning. The village is rather small, just one disco near the hotel, no big pubs, but San Vicenzo is only 10 km far, and there's a lot of life there!

Reviewed By Tinneke BMe and my friend came to hotel boutique Carolina after staying one night in their “partner” hotel Alta La Vista, which had bad working airco, no wifi and a very small room with absolutely no view (the window was the door). We were then offered a room at Hotel Boutique Caroline where we were welcomed with “here you will have no problems with the airco and wifi! Sure enough the room looked nice as it was brand new but when we arrived back that night from a concert at the nearby Bolgheri festival...sure enough, the airco did not work. Temperatures were 40 degrees celsius during the day so it was way too hot to sleep and although this hotel claims to be 4 stars, there was no one at the reception area and no one to contact. We could not even open the window as we were on the ground floor and again the window was a door so everyone could have entered. We complained at checkout and I wrote an email asking for a compensation, but of course: no answer. 190 euros for one night....really a scam.

Just amazing
Reviewed By JaapDWe stayed at the Alle Dune for only 4 nights. The resort is amazing, quiet and very clean. We had a room with a private Jacuzzi which was great after a day of sight seeing in Tuscany. The room is big with a large bathroom, and a ´kitchen area´ with coffee maker, fridge with freezer and several other things. The staff is amazing, very friendly, helpful and makes you feel at home! Big compliment! We only had dinner at the restaurant once which was nice, even they were fully booked we were given a table to have dinner. The beach is just 100 meters walk , with sunbeds and umbrella´s for the guests. Even strong wifi on the beach. Upon checkout we received a gift from the lady of the reception . Thank you! We can´t find anything wrong with this hotel, nor find anything to complain about. Thank you Alle Dune team for your hospitality.

Reviewed By MarcoPro2050It is rare to visit a locally-owned and operated hotel in Italy that successfully pleases me on an overall basis. Hotel i Ginepri is one. The entire facility is clean, safe and in very good condition. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you. For example, Liza, at reception was very kind is showing me around the facility and helped me when the electric car charger had issues. She always smiled and welcomed any request. The house cleaners actually clean the rooms in-depth each day (wow!). And the gardens are immaculate with nary a leaf on the ground (another wow!). Yes, my room was small with no view but I knew that when I booked it. I only slept in the room so a Monk's quarters was fine for me. The restaurant is excellent from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Giuseppe was our waiter most of the time. He, and all wait staff, aimed to please, were attentive and provided anything you wanted quickly. Giuseppe was my favorite because it was cherry season and he found cherries for me for breakfast with my yogurt (a third wow!). The pool is clean and inviting. I went to the beach which is private. Every morning the sand is cleaned and raked (a fourth wow!). There is a lifeguard. And all of the umbrellas, chairs and lounge chairs are in working order. Would I stay at Hotel i Ginepri again? Yes. Would I recommend it to other? Yes and choose the meal plan. It is worthwhile!

Restaurant and pizzeria, mini market with fresh fruits and vegetables, butcher shop with different kind of meats, entertainment with a daily program are the services offered by the Camping Village.

Reviewed By Michel0731Good accommodation and restaurant near the reception. Great cocktailbar at the beach. Nice animation for the younger kids. I personally didn't like the swimming pool but i think it is fine for young children. For city trips I would rather choose a nice B&B in central Tuscany. Although the majority of the staff are friendly, the atmosphere in the restaurant near the swimming pool is negatively influenced by the restaurant's little bald waiter. His “hate my job, hate the guests”-look and ignoring behavior can not be discribed other than guest unfriendly, rude and without any respect for the guests of the camping.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo monolocale con tutto l’essenziale , posateria piatti e bicchieri tutto coordinato, servizio caffè e colazione Thun . Un balcone dove fare colazione, pranzare e cenare con una visione mozzafiato. Ottima la qualità del sonno, letto e cuscini comodi , locale molto fresco non necessita di accensione del clima . Tutto funzionante . Fuori dall’ingresso c’è tutto ciò di cui si può avere bisogno: mini market fornito con prodotti di ottima qualità, bar ristoranti gelateria.... un viale per le passeggiate serali . La struttura è convenzionata con un ristorante dove si mangia benissimo a prezzo scontato. Parcheggio privato . Ottima posizione per visitare i luoghi archeologici etruschi. Che dire consigliato con la speranza di ritornarci, soprattutto per l’accoglienza. Da non perdere la il loro giardino botanico, attrezzato per la spiaggia con tanta tranquillità.
