We enjoyed fresh fish and an amazing view from the restaurant. It was very crowded when we went there and the hostess was having a difficult time keeping track of who was waiting for tables, but other than that it was a wonderful dinner.

Had a fantastic meal here the other night. The mahi-mahi special is superb and the beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection (although the glaze was a bit overpowering). Very good wine list, too. Our waiter Maykal was excellent; very professional and a good conversationalist. Seemed genuinely excited to serve and represent the restaurant.

This fun place was founded by a couple of Norteamericanos who fell for Costa Rica and stayed. The quesadillas, piled with guacamole, were utterly magnificent. The yuca fries are outstanding (and have a low glycemic index!). Sit in the patio in the back, with the wildlife, or on the porch in the front, watching the backpackers. If I lived in Manuel Antonio I'd be here four times a week.

Five Star Hotel Restaurant, La Luna offers a totally relaxed atmosphere, serving mostly Costa Rican gourmet cousine with some international alternatives, in general, with lower prices that other restaurants in the Manuel Antonio - Quepos Area and currently the only Restaurant with a Costa Rican Gourmet Menu. Happy hour offers an array of tapas from 4 to 6 pm offers and a magnificent view of the Ocean, the Mountains with a 360 degree view of the area.

This is a great location but the food did not live up to the setting and the prices are well over the top. We had two starters, one main and one dessert plus two glasses of wine. This cost 70 US dollars, our most expensive meal in Costa Rica. The food was OK but nothing special, the sun's at11 dollars a glass was poor and not properly chilled.
I rarely write bad reviews as change seen by my other reviews, but this was poor.

the food at arenas del mar's restaurant (el mirador bar and restaurant) is TO DIE FOR!! i did some research and found that costa rica was never known for good food, even though they have some amazing fruits, vegetables, and fish. One of the owners of arenas, dave, often visited a restaurant named blackfish outside of philadelphia owned by his friend and outstanding chef, chip. as luck would have it, we ended up meeting chip and his adorable wife amanda and their 4 kids while we were down there. chip completely revamped the food at arenas and y'all...whether you stay there or not, YOU MUST go eat there. i truly never had one bad meal... coconut milk chia pudding, mahi mahi, nachos, corn tortillas, spaghetti, pizza, you name it! it was all over the top good. not only the best food i had in costa rica, but some of the best food i've ever had period! they do a fabulous job of making it a great "foodie" spot with plenty of options for the picky family members too. you don't have to be staying at the resort (although we were) to eat here. if you are going to be anywhere NEAR here, do NOT miss a meal here.

We are a restaurant with an excellent view , accompanied by very good prices , service and variety of food for different tastes these are tex mex , fresh seafood and typical . We also have the best sushi in Manuel Antonio and 2x1 different cocktails every day from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm . We can say that in addition to food services to our customers have entertainment such as the live music on Tuesdays , Thursdays and Sundays every week. Open from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm every day lunch and dinner restaurant.

Lovely view of the sunset with very gracious host and staff. The 2 for one happy hour is limited to just three choices, mojito, pina collada, marguerita The ceviche was disappointing as it was a little soft/mushy and didn’t have much flavouring. Sashimi was good.

When we sat down and discussed the menu for Sancho's we agreed the menu had to have 3 things; fresh ingredients, big portions, and in a country where we believe things to be a little bit on the expensive side, fair priced meals. As far as the type of food we serve, people say Mexican, I say Mexican inspired. We make food we enjoy in hopes that our guests feel the same way. A lot of preparation and love goes into each dish that comes out of our kitchen. A majority of our meals do have some level of spiciness to them, if that is your thing give us a try. We have a full bar, we make fresh margaritas, no artificial sour mix in our drinks. Sancho's is a laid back vibe, feel free to come in after the beach and not have to worry about a dress code. We hope you give our little restaurant a try while you are in Manuel Antonio. P.S Coldest beers in town

Five family members out for dinner. Four drinks of three different margaritas and a beer. Two of them were BlackBerry. Started with an order of very good guacamole. One had the wet burrito with Carne Asada and red sauce, one had the two enchiladas with red sauce and Carne Asada, one had the burrito dry with Carne Asada. Another had a Carne Asada taco and the last one had the fish tacos that were excellent and they came with beans and rice which were just ok. Very friendly atmosphere. Some parking in front.

We only ate breakfast there, because we went to the beach, nature park Manuel Antonio, Quepos, and walking around, but the food looked amazing at the big meals. The breakfast is a little too american/european (we were expecting more local dishes and fruits/juices) but was all delicious.

If you are looking for an Authentic Costa Rican meal El Arado is your place! We have no hamburgers or pizza on the menu. Only traditional home cooked meals. Tell your taxi driver we are located on the old road to Manuel Antonio 100 meters south of the hotel Villa Teca.

We initially stopped by for a cocktail while waiting for our hotel to get our room ready but were met with such kindness we decided to stay a bit longer and ended up having lunch as well. We split the fish casado and the only mistake with that is that is was SO good we both could have eaten our own. When my friends aunt arrived a few days later (she's a CR resident) it was priority for us to bring her there. She loved it! The owner who also doubles as a server took care of us for the night. The dinner menu was hard to choose from, everything looked delicious. I decided on the tuna and pineapple wrap and was not disappointed. Hands down the best wrap I have had thus far in my life. Despite how delicious the food was what really stuck with me is how genuinely kind, happy and welcoming the gentleman (the owner) who served us is. His smile lit up the room!
