WORST EXPERIANCE I AM REGULAR VISITOR TO MANDARMANI YRLY SINCE 12 YEARS BUT MY FIRST EXPERIANCE WH DS HOTEL WAS WORST

A wrong choice of hotel
Reviewed By bimachoudhuryThe hotel lacked very basic things - maintenance and cleanliness. Washroom was not clean at all, bathroom fittings were rusty, dirty and not maintained. A/C rooms had non-functional A/Cs, light panels were not working, bed sheets were not clean. In short, whatever could go wrong, it DID! Well, I know it is a very basic and budget hotel so i didn't expect much, just clean sheets, clean and well maintained bathroom and I know this is not too much to ask for but I was totally disappointed. Will never ever visit again !

Very arrogant staff.. Not good for family stay
Reviewed By mosukhIn month of August me along with my two friends book this hotel online.once we reached the hotel, they have allocated 3 rooms as per booking but out of three 2 rooms are in pathetic situation. Window broken and washroom flash not working. When we asked to change the room they refused saying that no room available start arguing with us. When we checked the hotel was empty that day.. Then again we requested to change they are not accepting our request and stared arguing with us. After lot of negotiation they finally ready to change the room. The food served in hotel was pathetic and in breakfast there cook did not turned up so they served half cooked and pathetic. Not recommended for family stay

And once you get there, this resort can be your favorite place ? ?? How to reach? You have to get off at Chaulkhola by any long distance bus ( digha bus route ) from Kolkata and from there you can reach this resort by van or auto. It will take time to reach this resort , coz its on the sea side . The car will go through the middle of the fish ware on both sides, looks really nice f? Auto rental is between 30-50 rupees. In a word, this Sher Bengal resort is in the best place. This resort is right next to the sea, The first thing you will notice is a nicely arranged place to spend time sitting by the sea. Sitting under the blue sky, the roar of the sea, ohooo thats a next level feeling❤️ ??They have a car parking area , so you can take the car. ??Rooms and services: They have sea facing and normal rooms all available here. Rs 3.5k + gst for 2 bed room Rs 5.5k + gst for 4 bed room Rs 4k + gst for sea facing room Each room has an ac, sofa, small fridge. Each room there is different, which means it looks like a separate house This beautifully decorated resort There is a swimming pool, a gym, a cradle for the little ones, and a variety of toys. ?? Well with all rooms rent breakfast, gym and swimming pool included ?? They also have an ac cafe along the seaside there you can have some really delicious foods and drinks . ??Dining Story: Yes, this time my favorite part ❤️ Fooding is quite beautiful here.? In the Breakfast they have buffet service includes bread, jam, salted butter, curry with hot lentils, luchi, idli, sambar, semolina, boiled eggs and fruit drinks. Yes, you can get various drinks (paid) by the pool. Each was edible but very nice. Here you'll find a variety of marine fish delicacies. ??Lunch and dinner are not included, you have to buy it ❤️ The menu includes from dal, alu posto ,bengali cuisine , pomfret, shrimp, hilsa to chicken and mutton recipes. ?❤️ The taste was really amazing. every meal was nicely cooked, and served. Loved the foods ❤️ staffs there are truly impeccable. Honestly the resort is very beautiful ?? Pay a visit you will love it ❤️

Short and sweet stay
Reviewed By TanupriyaG3Bijoy beach resort isn't a hyped or famous one in mandarmani. I went there through a friend's reference and I was glad I chose this place. We stayed for 2 nights in Room no. 1 ( the room with the best view) and the sea shore was just beside the bed head. Very nicely done rooms with beautiful balcony with the sea view and clean bathroom made our stay beautiful. I was worried about the service as the previous reviews were not so good. But I must say they have a wonderful service. I did not have to ask for a thing twice. Food is ok. The chicken tikka kebab which I ordered was really bad. I guess I sudnt have ordered it in a place where the cooks are used to cook the normal daily food. Aloo paratha was good though. Bijoy beach resort though unheard in mandarmani is highly recommendable and I will visit here again for sure.
