Beautiful Place with great views
Reviewed By Joyce THad a wonderful time at this beautiful and secluded place. The rooms were spacious with a balcony and a beautiful views of the mountains. TV, fridge and bed seemed new. Nice to have a power strip in the room so we could charge all our electronics. Bathroom is spacious and modern. The owner was so helpful and kind. She had a great breakfast prepared for us with western and Thai dishes. The fruit is grown on the property. She let us use bikes without charge and had enough for the six of us and had them ready for us before we came in for breakfast. She told us where to bike to find a lake, cave and a park with monkeys. It's an absolutely beautiful place.

Reviewed By Charles John EAn older hotel on a side street but with real old world charm and very friendly, efficient staff. Breakfast wasnt much but for the price, overall we were very pleased. Located near enough to walk to the border markets in a few minutes. Only down side: the "local news" loudspeaker was directly outside our window so forget sleeping past 8:00 Am. ( These loudspeakers are a fact of life and every city and village in Thailand has this announcement system for local mayors and authorities to broadcast local news and happenings every morning, sometimes with music and or the national anthem.

So worth it for the low budget
Reviewed By FMozA budget accommodation that is so worth it. First, it is quite a pretty family-run place. The staff, which seem to be an ethnic-minority family of a man, a woman and a teenage boy (from what I can see), are very welcoming, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The room is well-equiped and beautiful for that price level. Set breakfast is very filling and tasty, consisting of a plate of 2 fried eggs with toppings of pork, a bowl of rice porridge with fish AND pork (this is highly unusual - it is always either pork or fish, or something else), a small bowl of coconut-based Thai dessert, and slices of watermelon. There is also filtered, albeit very light, coffee. And unlimited bread slices with jam for those still hungry. Location is right up to the border area - pity it is now all quiet due to the closure of international borders.

Clean room with reasonable price
Reviewed By Q2215MZsamdMy first time to Maesai and my friend booked me into this hotel. A simple hotel with halal buffet for breakfast in the morning. With the price that I paid for my room rate, clean room, hot shower and variety for breakfast during morning. Distance from hotel to Myanmar border is only about 2mins by car, unfortunately I don’t have time to walk at the market. Lucky I have some times to hang out at their coffee shop nearby the border during night time. Weather was cold due to is January.

small resort with very nice host .
Reviewed By Isaree Rwe booked this resort coz. they are close to many tourist places. such as Doi Tung/ Doi Pha Hee/ Doi Pha Mhee and the hilight is "Tham Luang - Khun Nam Nang Non Forest Park" and not so far from Mae Sai Market. If you like the resort where quiet & value of money, we are so recommend you to book this place.

Bamboo bungalows directly at the riverside
Reviewed By Moto DThe guesthouse is not directly in the town but about 10-15 minutes walk. it's nice and quiet with a beautiful garden and nice owner. Some of the bamboo bungalows have a balkony directly above the river with Myanmar on the other side. The bungalows are simple but clean and pretty. Nice place to stay.
