London Hostels hotel | Places to Stay in London

Ancient tradition and contemporary trend meet in age-old London. One of the most cosmopolitan and dynamic destinations on earth, for centuries the British capital has been on the forefront of whatever has been deemed cutting edge, en vogue, and topical. A thriving metropolis of several million people with a global reach and a worldly outlook, London is at its heart a series of small, interconnected villages with the framework and infrastructure of a modern city joining them together, yet seldom denying each its own distinctive character.

lift was not working

Reviewed By Sati77

This is actually a well-located hostel, very near to the train and underground station. The staff was really nice and they really work hard to make sure guests are enjoying their stay. However, when I was there, one of the lifts that take you to the basement was not working. So if you have quite heavy luggage and need the locker, it can be painful to take the stairs, even if it's only 1 level. The room and bathroom in my room were clean. They have a toilet in the receptionist area, but not sure why I never was able to open the door. Either it was always locked or maybe I did not push enough. I was staying in an all-female room (601 if not mistaken), It only has a bunkbed, and no certain pod to keep some privacy. If you are staying at the upper deck, be careful when climbing as on that part, the part of the ceiling is lower than the rest of the ceiling. it goes for all the bunk beds in that room. Im not sure why they set it that way, but someone can get hurt.

Starting with the reception staff, Very friendly and polite Staff Members and also professional at the same time. The Beds : different Locations, Like Separate homes in one development some are high up on the top floor, and some are on the ground floor of the room, luckily I tried both during my 7-night stay. and felt comfortable in Both. Showers and Toilets : Nice and Large, super hot shower rooms, however, toilets are a little tight for a big man like me. Cleaning : 10 out of 10 - where ever you go you find the cleaning team moving around or cleaning beds, mirrors, toilets, and Lobby - they only miss the smoking area. I believe it can be looked after in a better way Parking : whether you are driving a Rolls Royce or a Mini Cooper, your car will be safe and the mansion Paring space they have is enough. and Speaking of mansions - this is one of the most inspiring building designs my Eyes ever caught. Food : They serve Breakfast at the Bar in the morning with all you can Eat for £6.50 plus free coffee and cold filtered water. But you can also store - cook your own food in a separate Guest Kitchen. Laundry : you have it all, From a Professional washing machine, Dryers to an Iron table and an Iron. Security : as I mentioned, you feel at your home so it's super safe with your own biometric Card key to access not only your room but all amenities. they even have a library - computer sections and Makeup sections with good lights and if you are lucky you will be able to extend your stay there for up to 14 Days to discover more of the Great City of London. Highly Recommended - and well done to the Team who changed the perspective of staying in a hostel, from feeling that I will be staying in a Jail cell in the Nuremberg prison and feeling anxious into a comfortable stay in 47 Park street Marriot Hotel, Mayfair Excitements. Book Now and Enjoy your stay at the amazing Palmers Lodge Swiss Cottage.

Not bad but expecting a bit more

I stayed with a friend 3 nights at the hotel, in a sharing bedroom with 4 other girls. The room is a bit small, more if the 6 of us are standing and preparing to go out. The carpet was not that clean, even though the cleaning team visits the room evryday. The wifi worked perfectly. The worst part was the bathroom: the cabinet under the sink was broken and the tub was not that clean (mold in every corner)

Not a clean or sanitary place: hairs on the “freshly “ made bed and in the towels. I was to be reimbursed for the two nights we were supposed to stay there-nothing has yet to appear on my cc. The place is very disappointing. People were laying/sleeping on the couches in the commons area, not sure why they would be sleeping on these? Furniture needs repaired and cleaned. . Takes at least 20-25 minutes to ck in-very short staffed.
