Being just 70 km from Iguazu falls, Surucua Lodge is a family-run business which offers lodging (we have 4 rooms), regional, homemade and fresh (with local ingredients) cuisine and adventure ecotourism activities. It also offers unique experiences as you have a close contact with nature, and as you learn about the rainforest and its secrets by means of the personalized services we provide with a professional guide, included in the stay´s rate. We offer birding (more than 250 birds species), hiking through ours trails, biking (through Surucuá reserve's trails, like jungle bike) and kayaking along the upper Iguazu River, it is a peaceful voyage. A delightful stay
Reviewed By paulU4981DVI stayed 2 nights at the Sucrucua lodge. Couldn’t ask for anything better. The lodge is near the Iguazú river and afforded ample opportunities for birding. I particularly liked the seclusion offered. Laura and Adrian have done a marvellous job building the lodge with adjoining cabins. The food was just what I enjoy. Namely home cooked with a variety of dishes typical of Argentina and Paraguay. Claudia, the cook, accommodated my request of small per portions. It was also my first chance to try the ever common mate. Delicious. The rooms where clean and offered all the amenities. If you are looking for a quiet, off the beaten path, give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Have a modest hotel in the center of the province of Chaco , in the countryside , away from the annoying to the city and its vehicles noise MURMULLO ONLY THE BIRDS and in full contact with nature , rooms with private bathroom, air conditioning with outdoor pool , breakfast included in the room rate . , With shuttle to the airport and / or terminal onmibus . Where besides relax and enjoy the tranquility and contact with nature, you can ride a horse or bicycle , or walk through native bush, do photographic safaris, feed small animals ( goats ) and also taste grilled meats in our large barbeque . It is a family oriented place . The whip IS A PLACE TO VISIT AND ENJOY .

Reviewed By Victor lYa desde que entras al lobby de este hotel de selva te vas dando cuenta de la buena elección que tuviste al elegirlos para tu hospedaje. Absolutamente todo el personal demuestra de manera natural una excelente predisposición para hacerte sentir comodo y darte la mejor experiencia que puedas tener durante tu alojamiento. Las instalaciones recien inaguradas estan muy bien cuidadas y diseñas, y aunque todavía estan en camino a seguir haciendo cosas no hay nada que le falte para una hermosa estadía. Y mencion especial es la gastronomía del lugar. Sofia, duena y chef del hotel es una de esas joyas que agradeces haber conocido. Sus manos privilegiadas te preparan los mas exquisitos platos tipicos de la mesopotamia, y puedo asegurar que muchos chefs de renombre no le hacen sombra a esta increible chef q cocina con un nivel asombroso y por sobre todo con un amor por la gastronomía de su provincia que se plasma de manera impresionante en sus platos. Sin duda volveremos, por la calidez de su gente, lo prolijo de sus instalaciones y lo exquisito de su gastronomía. Gracias por hacer de nuestro viaje una experiencia única.

Mas foi frustrante: quarto ruim, com colchão de maáqualidade e banheiro com chuveiro fraco e cortina de plástico. Café da manhã com apenas suco tipo refresco, café, leite, croissant e um outro biscoito salgado argentino. Os proprietários são muito educados e aceitaram o cancelamento da reserva. Só recomendo se houver interesse por um Alojamento muito econômico e baixarem o preço.

Reviewed By kevinms17The location is quite good, centre in around 15 minutes and bus towards the Iguazu Falls 7 minutes away. The room is cosy and the pool is really refreshing in summer. .... is super attentive and really helpful at any request. He also managed for a cab to pick us up from the airport with a discount for booking the place.

Reviewed By Jek4925We were on family vacations for 3 nights, 3 nights WITHOUT LIGHT, WITHOUT INTERNET, WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING, being 40 Degrees Celsius in the room, the rude receptionist, and the administrator never showed up. The guests, they went to the 1am to look for a hotel because it was impossible to sleep there, and those of reception without solving anything. They never returned our money, and too many guests were angry. A Colombian guest told us that he had been staying at the hotel for 6 nights and they had no light since before. Simply disgusting hotel, besides breakfast, it was poor, with nothing.

Although the room was excellent, the facilities and amenities were disappointing

Very spacious, sparsely yet tastefully furnished, with a big bed that slept wonderful, and a very spacious bathroom with a great shower and bathtub. Also, the location is quite good, at walking distance from the town center. However, the facilities and amenities were a disappointment. Yes, they have a swimming pool, but no lounge chairs, only regular plastic chairs tables. Breakfast was okayish. Once the restaurant closes after breakfast (11:00 AM), you cannot get any lunch, snacks or drinks until it reopens for dinner at 7:30 PM (not even at the pool). The staff were certainly friendly enough, but not particularly skilled (with one or two exceptions). Wifi only available at the reception and in the restaurant, and it is doable but not very reliable (though it wasn't the worst I've ever had, either).
