We have visited Carrybridge Hotel a few times, very good food and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stop off on the boat and there are plenty of tables so you can be accommodated on most occasions.

We were taken to this restaurant by our friends who live in the area and we had a fabulous evening. The restaurant is lovely and each meal that came out looked better than the one before. Wish we had been in the area for longer as we would have loved to try some more of the menu. Setting, food and customer service were excellent and a great evening was topped off with a group of musicians who entertained us.

The Kissin Crust

The Kissin’ Crust is a family run Coffee Shop in the Upper slough Erne town of Lisnaskea, County Fermanagh. Close to the border of the Republic of Ireland, County Monaghan and County Cavan we enjoy a healthy cross boarder trade. All our food is homemade, using local produce where possible, including our scones, our cakes, our bakes and salads. We enjoy creating food that is homely, traditional and comforting albeit incorporating new and tending recipes too. Our shop seats up to 56 people, established in 2003 we renovated in 2007 making the shop much bigger. As the business continues to grow, and we struggle to find Seating for customers during busier periods we would love to develop our building even more. Over the past two years we have been developing an Afternoon Tea menu which has proven to be highly popular with customers near and far. If you wish to book an afternoon tea please do so via our contact number. To conclude we also provide a small outside catering menu.

This little cafe looks ok from outside and is ok inside but dated. The staff are young and clearly inexperienced in customer care, literacy (deserts instead of dessert etc) and numeracy(given wrong change twice reminding her how much she had been given). The order was taken v slowly. The food arrived some time later and was wrong. Other customers were waiting ages for their order to be taken too, despite there only being 6 people in the place. The tables are sticky as they are not thoroughly cleaned. The food tasted nice, the sticky toffee pudding was far too stodgy and lacked toffee sauce. Would I go back ....no. Would I recommend it probably not. With more effort and improved customer service this place would be great.

Woodhill Hunting Lodge

Reviewed By Lizdrum - Northern Ireland

Havent been for bout 5yrs. Called in on Wednesday 13th September. Was quite empty. However we ordered our food. Breaded mushrooms with garlic mayonnaise and a side salad. A beautiful plate of food. We felt the need for a traditional dinner so opted for the Roast Turkey ham and stuffing, set on a bed of mash (u dont have to have to take the mash) roast potatoes, cabbage and carrot and parsnip mash. Lovely waitress brought it to us and said will bring chips as included. We declined as could not have eaten any more! Actually brought an extra gravy float without asking. Hubby was delighted. O my this food was absolutely gorgeous. When u order roast beef or Turkey and ham it is usually a bit bland. Not in the Hunting Lodge! Cant wait to go back when next down at caravan. 100%

Looks ok from outside but when you make it inside it is a minuscule greasy spoon and you start wondering where does all the food preparation, hand washing go on in these extremely cramped conditions. Just terrible!!!We at Megan Macs Take-away pride ourselves with our 5* food hygiene rating, which would not be achieved through poor food preparation or insufficient hand washing facilities as implied.

The welcome, atmosphere and cooking in this little place are just like home - hence the title.
Caroline herself cooks to order in the open kitchen - everything is freshly prepared just how you like it. Same for the coffee, which is very good and gets refreshed, American style.
It's no-nonsense, hearty fare.
There is always parking outside in sleepy Brookeborough, and the prices seem like those of yesteryear. The clientele are locals, and they are guaranteed a chat.
A separate "sitting"room reminds me of those I used to find in old country pubs. Caroline's Kitchen is certainly worth a detour.
