Stayed one night only visiting my daughter, I have used this hotel before. Booked a queen size double it was very clean and comfortable with aircon, you can’t open the windows due to the main road, couldn’t hear a thing. The young girl on reception was very helpful and professional running the bar and reception. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, with Best Western reward we got a free breakfast excellent value for money!

From start to end our stay was remarkable. The hotel is in a great location and is close to great restaurants and bars. The rooms are exceptional and offer a unbelievable nights sleep. But the main reason the hotel is unrivalled in Leeds and why I keep returning is because of the staff. I cannot thank them enough for their dedication in ensuring our stay was flawless. A huge thank you to Alistair Young and David Firth and their team.

Hotel has a carpark as well as some parking outside. The carpark is quite right, so be careful if you have a bigger vehicle. The rooms I stayed in were very nice but neither the air con in each of the rooms worked. Bed was comfy and there was a mini fridge. WiFi was a bit sketchy trying to connect the firestick. Due to covid they don't service the rooms everyday and I need to send a msg to housekeeping via WhatsApp to get yr room cleaned. Breakfast had lots of selection and the only issue is that it gets very busy and they get you to share tables. First time I've ever had to do that in all my years of travel. They could just utilise the bar area for overspill if needed.

Couldn't Recommend Enough. Great Location on the Wharf, plenty of Bars and Restaurants locally nearby. The Train station is literally a 2 minute walk via the Lift. Hotel rooms were big, with nice view, and clean. Ground Floor Restaurant/Breakfast was spot on and Top Floor Bar with balcony was great. Staff were friendly and will return next time I'm in Leeds.

Exceptionally brilliant staff and lovely hotel!

It has been first and foremost the reception staff that made our stay memorable. Mike checked us in and Jasmine checked us out but in the course of the four night stay, we managed to have chats with both of them. Both Mike and Jasmine were most hospitable and warm and that made us feel welcomed. It was like home. The room itself was clean with all that was needed was there. Special mention for Taylor’s tea and coffee and coconut biscuits made in France. There was also a fridge! WiFi was super fast although it was down one day but we went out anyway and things were normal on return. Excellent location. Quiet room. Hope to return to Malmaisson.!

Ibis Styles Leeds City Centre Arena

IBIS STYLES LEEDS CITY CENTRE ARENA HOTEL DESIGN A HOTEL BORN AND BRED IN YORKSHIRE ibis Leeds City Centre Arena is a hotel that's Yorkshire through and through. Brewed with the very best of Leeds and Yorkshire, this hotel's bustling and modern like the city, and like the county it's proud to share nods (of the flat cap) to its past. Iron, wool and wood combine with northern soul and northern humour to give a hefty slice of glorious Northernism. Come rain or shine we're sure you'll have a proper good time. The inspiration Leeds' story is woven right though this hotel, and you'll hear all about it in a bold-as-brass, slightly cheeky, Yorkshire twang. You'll find references to the city's industrial past, when local looms were the booming epicentre of all things wool and worsted, and local printworks were global production powerhouses. Yorkshire's iconic characters are featured too, as etchings on our wet-room glass panes. There's a wicket taker in his whites, and head-rocking festivalgoers dancing in the mud. They're always getting caught in showers without an umbrella, but cheerful nonetheless. The design Throughout the hotel you'll find authentic bits of Yorkshire: local lingo printed on the walls and mirrors, cityscape graphics on the headboard. Vintage industrial materials are combined with modern fabrics and colours. Huge wrought iron 'letterset' letters hang on the reception wall, illuminated by sets of bulbs inside each letter. Bedroom desks and chairs are forged from powder-coated metals, while chairs and stools in the public areas are upholstered with chunky wool fabrics in cool grey, bright yellow and warm burnt orange. There's a beautiful wool patchwork carpet across the public area floor too. The experience Staying here is like your own little tour of Yorkshire - you might even leave us feeling like you grew up here. Brew in hand, you'll soon be greeting us with an 'Ey up chuck' each morning as you pop down for a breakfast buttie (sandwich!) and a natter. And while you're relaxing with your second cuppa, any young century-makers with you can have some fun at the crease in our cricket ball play area. You can take a look at some of the local artwork we have on the walls instead. When you do head out into Leeds, we're close to it all. You can go shopping, pop next door to see a show at Leeds Arena, or head to Headingley for some test match action. Howzat?

Had an excellent stay here! It is so close to the train station (literally the same building) so it is very convenient. The inside is absolutely stunning! The room was just perfect, and the shower was out of this world. As someone who is very fussy on bathrooms, this is high praise indeed. The TV is massive, there’s lots of space even in the cheapest of rooms. The bed was soooo comfortable! But best of all the staff were so lovely! There was a certain lady on reception (didn’t catch her name but a scouse accent maybe?) who was absolutely lovely. She asked us all about our plans and gave us advice on transport and then remembered us the next day when checking out and asked us all about it. She also arranged for our bags to be kept whilst we explored the city waiting for our train. 10/10 recommend and will 100% be coming back next time we visit Leeds!!

Above and beyond

Reviewed By adamN9351YO

Having stayed at several Premier Inns I can honestly say this is one of the best. The least we expect is a clean and comfortable room and we weren’t disappointed but here they went the extra mile. The little touches such as ice cold water on tap in reception and sachets of tea, coffee, sugar etc. to replace the ones in our room. Tracy greeted us in the dining room in the morning, she was friendly, helpful and we felt that she and the chef took pride in their work. Breakfast was well cooked, the plates were warm and the food was hot, not always the case in our experience. The continental was well laid out with a full selection, everything from fresh fruit to croissants. Parking was conveniently close by with a discounted rate from the hotel. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
