Reviewed By 304isabellcStayed at the laird and dog for four nights, comfortable rooms, food in restaurant first class. Staff very friendly and very helpful, short bus ride to Edinburgh, bus stop right at front door. Can't wait to go back.

The bed was very comfy and the loo’s where impeccably clean the wardrobe had hangers already witch was a nice touch so I can hang my cloths. The shampoo’a where top quality and the tee was very good so all in all it was a 10/10 nothing wrong with it. Will stay again.

Kevock Vale Park is nestled on the banks of the river North Esk, in Lasswade, near Edinburgh. Our self-catering lodges and luxury pod are open all year round. Children are welcome. It is the perfect location for people looking for a place to relax, yet offers lots to see and do on your doorstep. It's a great base for exploring Edinburgh, Lothian, Fife and the Borders.

Reviewed By OrangefarmThis is a review of Kevock Vale Parks Luxury Garden Pod. This pod has wow factor. Situated in a quiet area close to some excellent pubs. The room was clean and neat. The kitchen area was well equipped. There were complimentary chocolates and milk in the fridge. These people have thought of everything. The pod contained a TV, microwave, fridge (with milk inside), cutlery and utensils as well as tea and coffee and a kettle. There is also a modern bathroom with heated towel rails. The pod is dog friendly and has a dedicated parking space. There is a BBQ outside should you feel the urge to cook your meat on an open fire. There is free WiFi. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Reviewed By Gillian WStayed an overnight as attending festival in Dalkeith. Owner Ruth is an absolute delight & very accomodating. Rooms are spotless & decorated tastefully in keeping with the era of the house. Board is room only ,however rooms have tea& coffee making facilities & in the hallway is a large selection of free biscuits , fruit , juices , cereals , milk & specialist teas . A really thoughtful touch is a basket of toiletries, plasters,painkillers etc in both the bathroom & in hallway. This was our 2nd visit & would certainly go back ?
